this place is the place to get specialty beer in san diego.... they get the brew on tap and in bottle that now that you can buy import bottles to-go..... Man...I am in trouble. The best bar for rare beer in san diego. They always have something new on tap so you can’t get board. If you want a loud place to dance and shake your rump, go elsewhere. Otherwise, if you want a calm relaxing place to sit and have a meal and beers, this is the place for you.

This place rocks. Try the spicy steak sandwich. Get a top 50 beer here. Lots of rare bottles available to take home for home consumption. Closes a little early.

This is one of the best beer bars in the Country. It is a hoppy place (pun intended). They ALWAYS have a great selection of craft brews with an emphasis on IPA’s. I’d go their more often but I live 1500 miles away

Absolutely loved this place, Alesmith Speedway Stout, then Rochfort Trappisties 10, then Pliny the Elder or Younger...by this time I was drunk, THEN Westveltern abt 12....what a selection. Great food too.

Wow. The best beer selection ever, including many aged on site. It incredible to hear the patrons talking so knowledgably about the beers. Beautiful waitresses as well.

Didn’t get to have the food, but this is a fantastic place. I had lived in SD for long enough not to have been here. I am amazed astonished and flabergasted by the amazing selection and the fact alone that I had Cantillon Lou Pepe Kriek on tap here makes me rave about this place. Also the chairs are pretty amazing. Great burgers and onion rings.

by far the best beer bar in town. thankfully my roommates have good taste in beer and introduced me to the place about two years ago. great people, taps, bottles!!!!

Great place, amazing selection of bottles. We had good service and the bartender was friendly & knowledgeable. Food is ok and the place is small. If your in town you have hit this place.

My kind of place. Dive bar all the way with a superb tap list and a cool vibe. Very chill. Reminds me of bars I grew up in back east but with a distinct SD feel.

Best beer bar I’ve ever been to. Lots of great beers rotating frequently. Good food, GREAT service. The owner Tom is a great guy and knows his beer. He’s a big soccer fan, and this is a very good bar to go to if a soccer match is on. I was in San Diego 7 nights and I was here 5 of those and the tap list never got old. Food is good.
