86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 finol (34) Stockholm, Sweden | May 17, 2013 Almost everything in fridges, tables for drink-in. Mainly danish and US brews, but also some sours, other belgian and other. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 mcberko (134) Vancouver, British Columbia | May 13, 2013 Great little bottle shop just around the corner from the original Mikkeller bar. Not the most expansive selection, but the bottles they do have are of the highest calibre. Typical pricing for Denmark, maybe even a bit higher. The experience didn’t blow me away as a world class beer store, but it’s certainly worth checking out for any beer lover in Copenhagen. | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 BeerViking (52) Lüneburg, Germany | May 10, 2013 Slightly scruffy shop with several fridges and a couple of long tables - you can drink your purchases there for an extra cost. Range is not huge - and some fridges were only 2/3rds full - but it features some very interesting Danish, US and Belgian beers including some rarities. Prices seemed a tad high, even for Copenhagen. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 jackl (205) London, England | May 8, 2013 Pretty small shop located close to Mikkeller’s Viktoriagade. Probably less than 150 bottles available on my visit. Good quality stuff, but priced a bit higher than the underrated Kihosk. Service was reasonably cheery. The selection had the ususal mix of Danish, American, and Belgian goodies. Overall, nice, but not the mind blowing experience that I had been led to believe it was. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 BRW (14) Barcelona, Spain | May 7, 2013 Small shop with some interesting beers. Great service, you can drink the beers there. Worth the visit. | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 18/20 BoBoChamp (5) Gent, Belgium | March 10, 2013 A small shop with many American imports! Here you will find the best (local and foreign) craft beer Denmark has to offer. Sometimes very pricey; but hey, we are at Denmark! Very helpful staff and possibility to drink on the premise. Sadly this shop isn’t more close to my home... | 84 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 Camons (129) Hasselager, Denmark | March 8, 2013 Small shop near the central station. Great ,but not big, selection of quality beers. Good, friendly and knowable service. Possible to drink the beers on site for a little fee. Expensive, but still absolutely worth a visit. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 adamjackson (112) Canaan, New Hampshire | March 5, 2013 Very small bottle shop but lots of quality beers available. you can drink beers there or have them to go. | 88 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 martinen (39) Malmö, Sweden | February 13, 2013 A great place to find rare things. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 Kristophe (61) , Sweden | February 7, 2013 Great selection of beers, especially from the US and belgian lambics. But it’s not the ordinary assortment that is their strength, it’s all of those special releases. Vintage beers, rare stuff, Copenhagens freshest IPA’s and so on. Number one bottle shop in Copenhagen. |
