Have paid a few visits to the Old Brewery in recent years normally when Ive had family visiting as it fits in well with the Grenwich tourist trail.
2 rooms, 1 large with the brew kit etc on view, the other smaller where you can sit at the bar. Patio seating outside. beer range predominantly Greenwich as you’d expect with one or two of their offerings you Dont see so much at other London pubs. a few guest taps/bottles also.
service adequate but sometimes it seems a little understaffed. the burger here was decent. clientele is heavy on the tourist - don’t expect to see any cockerknees in this here pub!! I wouldn’t schlepp out to Greenwich just to visit the old brewery but if you’re doing the tourist thing well worth stopping by.

So I came down here on my bike from Clapham expecting a bit of old style English historical nostalgia and I certainly got that from the Admiralty. The Old Brewery is slightly smaller than I was expecting with a smaller range of beers. The restaurant hall is more utilitarian than it looks in the publicity pictures, so I recommend coming when the weather is good and drinking in the garden. Range of beers is about 10 regular Meantime beers on keg and a handful of Belgian and American bottles. Kwakiutl, Brooklyn, Westmalle etc. come for the location and take in the history of this beautiful
remnant of British Empire building and have a beer as you pass through.

There are really 3 parts to this place: a smallish bar, large restaurant/cafe-cum-brewery and large outdoor patio area. The bar is where to go if you are here for the beer. They have about ten taps (mostly keg, but also a few cask) which mostly cover meantime’s regulars and a couple of seasonals (American Quad when I visited). The bottle selection is decent with a variety of UK, US and good Belgium options. The restaurant/brewery area is large and actually quite touristy, given that it opens out to the Royal Naval College. If I were you I’d stick to the bar or patio area in summer. Probably one of the best things is the tasting paddle they offer. A good place to take non-RB friends and family, but not for the hardcore.

Been here a few times now, obviously mostly Meantime brews available on keg, but some good other names always available both on cask and plenty of bottles to choose from. Service is friendly but beer and food is on the pricey side as you would expect with the localtion/clientčle. Recommend the tasting paddle, essentially any 4 (3rd/pint glasses) of your choice of their selection.

Visited this place 31/12-2011 with my parents.
Actually we where just looking for a toilet, then we saw they had some nice cakes and decided to have coffee and cake :-)..
THEN Jan found out it was a brewery too and he disappered and came back with beers :-). The beers are mainly Meantime beers.
Really like this place with all the bottles in the ceilling, the nice drawings of the history of beer.
The staff in the bar was very friendly.
For sure a place to visit again whenever the trip goes to Greenwich.

Interior is strikingly beautiful, but that’s about it. I was not impressed by the Meantime beers nor the service the day I visited.

Nice relaxing day in Greenwich isnt complete without sitting out in the (ahem) sunshine with some good beers, meantime or the bottles from other breweries. Service was great, chatted for a while to one of the barstaff, who was more than happy to chat about micros

Taps aren’t so exciting (Meantime stuff) but great bottle selection, including some Trappist stuff. Decent food, bit expensive and yuppie and good place to enjoy an interesting election of bottled beers.
