Long established brewpub with decent beers. The brewing kit is right in the pub. Pleasant pub with an open, airy feel. Can be quite food-oruiented at certain times but always OK for just a drink. Expect to find three Old Cannon beers, Adnams Bitter and three or so guests. Certainly worth a visit, if not a detour.

Nice brewpub just out of the town centre. Good selection of Old Cannon beers and great food in cosy surroundings. Definitely worth a look.

One of the best three bars in town and a short walk from the Bury Beerhouse, visit them both.

Great local, neighborhood brewery known for its ale and food. It is just off the beaten path but offers much more than other places. No TV or loud music; just a good place for a pint and some conversation. Gunners Daughter, Best Bitter top Ales along with 4 other regulars and one seasonal (St Edmunds Head). Good guest ales can be found here as well as a selection of wines.
