Long established brewpub with decent beers. The brewing kit is right in the pub. Pleasant pub with an open, airy feel. Can be quite food-oruiented at certain times but always OK for just a drink. Expect to find three Old Cannon beers, Adnams Bitter and three or so guests. Certainly worth a visit, if not a detour.

Great local, neighborhood brewery known for its ale and food. It is just off the beaten path but offers much more than other places. No TV or loud music; just a good place for a pint and some conversation.
Gunners Daughter, Best Bitter top Ales along with 4 other regulars and one seasonal (St Edmunds Head). Good guest ales can be found here as well as a selection of wines.
