These guys werenít doing anything for GABF and consequently they werenít very busy. Actually, despite being half full it was very quiet. Dedicated bar flies I guess. The whole down town area was surprisingly quiet for being the eve of GABF but it was a Wednesday night after all. Theyíve got a few taps, a couple of decent ones, but mostly just macros. Between that and the depressing atmosphere I didnít stick around for a drink. Probably would not chose this over any of the other better beer spots in the down town area.
Stopped in on GABF-eve with the "crew". Pretty dead inside, perhaps because they didnít really have anything special going on. Decent number of taps, but nothing really all that great on tap, pretty typical selection for Colorado. Felt kind of run down, but perhaps that was the rather deserted nature of the bar/restaurant...
Mostly like other OCís but the beer selection is somewhat different. We had the back bar mostly to ourselves for a Bama game. Exceptional service.

Just like just about any other Old Chicagoís. Pizza, nachos, fried shit. Service is hit or miss. Despite having 100 beers, they rarely have anything interesting.

Big place, feels like a family dining resturant. About 20-25 taps wich at first seems impressive at a closer look the celection is mostly macros and the bigger well known micros. Happen to find a few unrated decent beers for my dinner. Friendly and attentive service, loud crowd in there a saturday night. Food was eatable, but not really good, to greasy for my liking.
Sadly the concept here does not work any more. A few better known micros fight for shelf space against lesser known international wet air beers to go with the multi-screen television baseball / football anf the fluffy music. Needs a facelift applied to its thinking organ.
I love old chicago, even though they dont serve in proper glassware and all that crap. Its still a good place to get quality beers on tap. they had some good ones while i was there-avery majaraja was on as well as some other colorado beers. Good food as usuall.
Pretty typical Old Cís. This probably wouldnít be my first choice of beer places in Downtown Denver, but you could do worse. Good beer, good food.

One of the first OCís that I set foot in years ago. The selection can change, generally is okay, but rarely seems to go to the above and beyond that is nice to find ... perhaps Iíll step back in and see if theyíve gone up or down ..
Even though our waiter skipped out on us halfway through the meal (thank you, Mr. Manager, for deducting $10 from our bill for that!), the food is AWESOME and the selection is incredible. Definitely hit this place when youíre in town!
