If youíre looking for authentic Chicago-style pizza, youíre barking up the wrong tree. Thatís not to say that the pizza isnít good; it certainly is. Just donít expect Giordanoís or Ginoís East, and youíll be satisfied. However, if youíre looking for a pretty solid selection of craft beer, Old Chicago in Murfreesboro has got you covered. Theyíll always have several local beers on tap, and they rotate seasonally. One bonus is that they offer $1.75 10 oz. drafts on Mondays, and that includes craft! The bottle selection is impressive, too, although Iíve never actually ordered one because the draft options are numerous enough to keep me occupied. Service has always been friendly but a bit scattered at times. Also, the World Beer Tour program is a major cause of confusion. Almost without fail, my server has gotten something wrong when trying to add my beers to my WBT record. Therefore, my advice is to enjoy the beer and forget the so-called "importance" of the WBT.

First time Iíve been to Old Chicago. I went to the bar, ordered a Pipeline porter and ordered the Pizza Buffet. The Bar tender asked if I knew where to go for the Buffet, after telling her I have never been there , she took me right to it. They might not have the selection of the flying saucer, but it is decent.

I stopped in here on my way through Tennessee. A little ways off the interstate exit 78 toward the Boro. I walked into what was the grossest fug smell in the doorway. It stank like sour cleaning fluid and sweat. Gross. I sat in the bar area. Typical sports bar feel - large TVís, pool tables, about 25 taps. 20+ Macro taps: Bud/Miller/Coors and at most 4 taps devoted to all of Americaís craft beer. Yazoo Hop Project, Dogfish Head 90, Boulder Kinda Blue, and BBC. The selection was pretty limiting. I asked for a Dogfish 90 and the bartender said it was out - no indication from the tap handle - they could put a cup over it/take it off/do something so people know itís empty. Which made me think they probably had another keg in their back cooler but he just hadnít gotten around to changing it yet. I got a Boulder Kinda Blue and a BBC American Pale ale and ordered their stromboli. My friend ordered a soup and salad entree. The bartender ran our orders back to the kitchen and returned with my friends salad - a classic restaurant habit if someone orders a salad before their main entree - however the salad was their main entree. I sat their waiting on my stomboli. When it arrived it was gushing with watery innards of pre-frozen italian sausage/ pre frozen veggies - the middle was cold and the outside was too crispy - my meal had been made in a factory somewhere else. It was defrosted when I ordered it and paid 8.99 for it. What does this place think? I could go to Mellow Mushroom across town and get better quality for cheaper. Very disappointing. The bartender was preoccupied for most of the meal even though I stopped between lunch and dinner shifts. The place was pretty much empty. I had several friends recommend this place to me because they know I like craft beer. This place was a disappointment, you win some you lose some I guess! Still looking for a good craft beer place in Middle Tennessee/Nashville/Bowling Green area.

Pretty nice for an Old Chicago. Cool Waitress. Nice tap selection for area with some nice regional brews. 4 or 5 taps that I have not tried before. Food was pretty good for an Old Chicago. Nice place to have a couple of beers.
