Its Old Chicago, you know what you’re going to get. A decent selection of beer on tap and in bottles. I don’t mind the food but the beer is better than most places my family goes so I am happy to head there

Been to this Old Chicago location several times. Although occasionally they’ll surprise you by having something unique on tap, there "large" selection is mostly pedestrian. They had Sierra Nevada Harvest on tap a couple of years ago which was outstanding but in general. Old Chicago caters to the beer dabbler, not the beer geek. Food is pretty good and kids eat free on Tuesday nights

Seems to have improved as their selection now has a greater number of seasonals. Plus the staff is friendlier! Update 2/2009 - spoke with the guy in charge of the taps about getting Surly and he was totally against it due to the keg deposit? Points off!!!

Visited here in February 07. Like all Old Chicagos I have been to - have a very decent selection of midwestern micros. The rotating specials are clearly marked and the beer lists are updated frequently so you are not left wondering if something is in stock. Solid food selection - burgers, pizzas etc. Typical fern bar decor. Always a good solid choice if in Minnesota and looking for a few good beers.

same as other old chicagos, decent food and decent beer selection. i have had skunky bottled beer so i’m not sure how often they turn obscure merchandise, but all in all a good experience. this place has gotten a lot better now that you don’t have to fight the smoke!
