The food is decent, it does the job of soaking up the booze. The beer selection is mostly theirs and they have all the needed genres. The beer is mostly okay, nothing to rave about, but always something to drink. Service is usually passable but if they are remotely busy the service quickly goes downhill, I have waited 30 minutes for my waitress to come out of hiding only to go to the bar to get a drink and be told off for not waiting for my waitress. When weíre in this part of town we usually end up here though as itís one of the best options.

Visited on Tuesday 11/11/14 just after opening at 11.20am. Large facility with decor typical of a 90ís brewpub, plain floor, wooden chairs and tables, some booth seating. Heritage table top Pacman to the right of the door as you enter. The place was dead but we were in and out before the lunch hour. Service prompt and friendly. Tasters available for all beers. Beers were pretty blah, lowest average ratings for any brewpub I visited on this trip at 2.87. Highlight was the Black IPA which hit a 3.4. We didnít eat. Overall not a place to go to unless you are after ticks (15 in total). We only hit here as it was near to where I was staying and being my 3rd visit to PDX started to touch on íbest of the restí venues having already taken on all the higher ranked places.

One of those places that has been around forever. Wife and I stopped here after doing some roof work (woo!), and the place was decently busy. Itís got a distinct sports pub vibe mixed in with the old market signs. The waitstaff, well, I got a distinct Hooters impression. Not as overtly sexual, I suppose, but, well, I probably just sold you with one sentence. We had brunch, and the food was good. Not special, but not bad. Plenty of beer, but itís mostly average. Prices are decent for the PDX area, though I do wish the 8 oz glasses were a little cheaper. Still, a pretty nice stop.

The place was an Old Market that my grandmother frequented back in the day! Good beers, great menu and even better shuffle board!

The beer isnít really much to speak of here, but I can honestly say that Iíve never had anything but a great time going here with friends. The shuffleboard is key of course, the food is decent and the staff is very attentive. A fun place to have a big group outing.

Just happened to stop by for some food on my way back home from Johnís Marketplace. Didnít even know it was a brew pub, what luck. Good beer and great food with friendly service.

I truly like this place as one of the few things that makes the southwest livable around Multnomah Village. The food is damn good, especially for vegetarians. They brew their own and all of it is always on tap.

Had a great time at this old pub. I was amazed after years of passing by this place what did I find this was a great brewpub. They have a great selection of brews. The fruit beer was pretty good Ė Mr. Slates Gravelberry ale. Great names and all the beers where very tasty and very good. The food was very good and the service was also very good. Finally a pub with great service. The interior was fully redone recently. They did a great job. This is a great place and many do not know about this place.

This place is a must try if you are in the Multnomah neighborhood, or simply just visiting Johnís Market, it is right down the street. Decent beer and great food, with some awesome lunch specials. A great neighborhood kind of feel, that is kind ofhands off, but somewhat friendly. Has some shuffleboard, some pool tables and a decent jukebox.
