Lovely pub in the pedestrian area of Sidmouth. White with black wooden panels and memorabilia. Very friendly owner and staff. Some taps have the usual suspects, but there are 4 real ales available, one of which is a guest ale. Beer was in excellent condition. The food was always fresh and well prepared, delicious. Fish & chips with minted mushy peas was superb, as are the steaks. All ingredients are sourced locally. A place where I would happily spend the whole evening. Good beer and good food in beautiful anc characterful surroundings-what more could you want?
Ps: Donít forget to try their homemade sticky toffee pudding!
