Decent selection but really snobby/rude staff. Won’t be in a hurry to go back. Prices are about average.

Prices are a little higher though, but it is a smaller store so this is perhaps why, the beer selection was limited to great...but valumarket nearby has way more ;)

Was looking for a particular beer and heard that they had it. The place is a small liquor store located in the Highlands. A small beer section is located in back of the store. They had Three Floyds, Bells, Founders and other mainstays in the area. The beers were pricey. Parking is a pain; had to park a distance away in the surrounding neighborhood. The only way I’m going back is if I need beer really bad.

As far as selection goes, their wine selection is great! Their beer selection isn’t that bad either, however their spirits are kind of lacking and way over priced (I’m talking specifically about bourbon).

A really good little beer store for its location. A very good selection and a helpful staff.

For its size, a great place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. good selection and love the fact you can make your own 6-pack with any beer they have. They also sell good bread, funny cheeses and various salamis.

awesome wine selection, and a generally good beer selection. lots of rotating seasonals, crafts, and 650ml bottles.

Small store with closely stacked racks. Mostly wine, but has a small craft beer section that is worth checking out, especially if you are just entering the craft beer world. Service is good as far as wine is concerned, my cashier was a self professed non-beer drinker. The price range is broad, so you can find something for what is in your pocket.

Ok, I added this place because it was the first place that turned me onto craft brews, seeing as most of its brews are crafts. The selection is not gigantic, but it is quite sufficient to find something pleasurable. Furthermore, the selections are always changing, so it is hard to go into Old Town and not find something that you have not tried before. The staff is knowledgeable about beer and has proven to me to be more than happy to discuss beer, make suggestions regarding what beer you should buy, and even order beers for you. They have 6 packs, multi-packs, and bombers. But, the best part about this place is their Mix Six deal, which allows you to pick up an empty 6-pack carrier (which the store provides) and simply take singles out of the available six packs so as to construct your own mixed six pack. This tends to be a bit pricey (thou you to get something like a 10 percent discount of some kind when doing this... I think it is 10% off of each single when bought in a mix-6er) yet very fun, especially if you like rating beer. However, it can actually save you money say, if you wanted a certain beer but a six pack of it costs 15 dollars, you can just cop one or two of them in a mix 6er and pay a significantly cheaper total. It even has a drive through window, which proves handy, and it is in a nice part of town.
