Nice quite small and cozy pub close to Kuopio city centre. 11 taps. OK service. Not really a cheap place. 3 Beer Hunter’s brews on tap.

The largest selection of taps and bottled beers in Kuopio, but only two rotating taps and the bottles rarely change. A lot of commonly available stuff, nothing that special. Prices are quite reasonable, though.

Nice place to have a beer, maybe the best in the city of Kuopio.

Beer restaurant downstairs. Quite comfy and the tables are located so there’s a computer for every table. This place is very crowded if there’s an ice hockey match going on the television or if there’s an artist playing.

One or two taps for "not your bulky beers", usually something from a common Finnish importer. Bottle selection has some tasty Belgian beers (Oerbier for example), but the selection doesn’t change very often. They’ve had some beers from small Finnish breweries though.

Service is good, however sometimes the bartenders aren’t really beer experts. One time a bartender recommended a beer for me because it had a high ABV.

This is located near Ravintola Gloria and Pannuhuone, so it’s worth a visit if you have time.

The upstairs might seem a bit offsetting for your average beer enthusiast but not to worry, that’s for the wine people. Downstairs you’ll find a very comfortable beer restaurant with a superb selection and bartenders who know what they’re talking about. Worth a visit when you’re in Kuopio.
