This is a nice little place that specializes in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options while also offering some fish choices. Emphasis on local and natural products as well as health. Parking and entrance are off Cass Street.
You wouldn’t know it from their website, but they’ve recently joined up with a brewer for a small brewpub operation, with four bottled options from the brewer when I was there. Of these I only tried the Q, a quinoa beer, which to my surprise was a really well-done, tasty version of a standard malt-based ale. They also have a full range of bottled selections from the major Michigan brewers (Bell’s, Founders, New Holland, and others) and a rotating tap selection that I completely failed to ask about.
For dinner I had the Buddhist priest stir-fry with tempeh, which was pretty good, but the tempeh itself (grilled or roasted, I think) was really great. Main nitpick with the overall experience--frosted glasses.
