This is a great nano-brewery in the East Side of Madison Wi. Small but tight selection of beers. By far as good of beer as you are going to find in Madison, or anywhere else. They may be small, but the motion of their ocean is great. Their server Brianna was a delight!

Small start up (just past their one year anniversary). A building selection of home brews, and they are quite tasty. This place is defiantly worth a try if you are in, or passing through, Madison, WI.

Visited August 10, 2012 (GTMW eve).
Found this completely by accident. We did a pub crawl (a very long crawl) through Madison the night before Great Taste and ended at Alchemy for dinner and Dark Horse beers. Noticed this from across the street. It was really busy when we went in at around midnight. I tried their two house beers, made on their tiny little system behind the bar (Iíd be surprised if it even was one barrel). The kolsch and tripel both werent bad. I also tried the ESB from House Of Brews.
The bartender was real nice. They dont do samples but with only two house beers it wasnít too bad splitting a couple of pints. We met some interesting people in that bar too. One guy was a playwright and told us all about the stuff he had written over the last 40 years. Another guy was drawing on a sketchpad at the bar. Nice people over all.

Limited tap list. Beers were decent, good but not great. Interesting place.

A cool little brewery in a nice neighborhood with a hipster clientele. 7 taps plus 5 guests, with a 5 sample flight for 10$. Limited but interesting menu with pizzas on weekend. Friendly hipster servers and clients...fun place.

Perhaps I should hold off on reviewing this place, but Iíve been in twice and have had one beer between the two visits. They simply canít keep their beer on tap and it went back on tap the next day, not sure why they could swap the tap lines to put more of their stuff on tap. Other breweries products are offered here, probably 10 or so beers on tap. Medium sized tap room with a few TVs and minimal food choices.

Pretty solid place, right across the street from Alchemy. Long and narrow set up with a good size bar, lots of tall tables with seating around them. They had 2 of their own brews on tap when we visited, the #2 was pretty darn good. The brewer was more than glad to talk about his brews and what he is planning on doing next. I still canít believe they only brew one barrel at a time, has to be a pain to keep up with demand. They blew through 26 kegs in 4 days and ran out of 2 of the other beers. They also had several guest taps on, some decent stuff but nothing crazy. At $4.50 a pint itís a little pricey but worth the stop if you are in the area.
