Nice location at Ruoholahti canal, a must visit at summer.
Always has had an interesting selection of beers. Now the ownership has apparently changed, so we’ll see how it goes from here.

Note: the place has changed ownership. The future of special Cantillon bottles or any hard to find brews is unknown. I suspect that
the place will turn into more normal
pub serving decent beer list but nothing really special.
First impression is that the pub hasn’t ever been cleaned and that is probably true. The beer selection varies a lot. The theme weeks fill up the fridges and that selection is available until it runs out. Sometimes the fridges can be next to empty. The Cantillons ad few draught beers brewed for this pub are usually availble. Occassional live music.

New winds blowing in the One Pint Pub.
A couple of a younger generation lads behind the bar. The new Jätkäsaari population have found the bar so lots of new customers. I Slurped a Guerrilla IPA last weekend , bar was packed of music & beer geeks. vey cosy though crowdy. Summer patio is what I am looking forward to.

A quirky little neighborhood pub. Decent tap selection, and a small bottle selection that may or may not contain something interesting, depending on when you are visiting. A nice place to visit during summer when you can stay at the nice outside patio.

NIce place, looking back at the trip, the second best selection in Helsinki (pikkulintu being the only better), only got 1 of the special cantillons but still an enjoyable place with some nice brews. Will be stopping by in june 2014 on our trip.

Stopped by to have a bottle of Cantillon Tyrni Lambic. I was definately not dissapointed. A rough looking place on outskirts of Helsinki serving some excellent selection of beers. Service is friendly and the chap in the bar was a great one to chat with.

Went in here on a Tuesday night and we were the only people in there for awhile. Bartender was sitting on the couch watching TV, but got up an helped us. Small but varied draft selection and a couple of fridges filled with a few regulars and some more higher-end stuff (including a handful of Cantillon, one brewed especially for One Pint). Definitely a hole-in-the-wall pub atmosphere, but very comfortable and friendly. Looks like maybe they do live music or have a DJ sometimes. Lots of brewerania, growlers, and empty bottles as decoration. Definitely easy to blow some cash here.

I found out on my last night in town that this was just a short walk away. A tiny place at the base of an apartment block. The outside terrace next to the canal was nice, the inside was a dark cluttered Aladdin’s Cave of Beer. Which is a good thing. The focus seemed to be on French/Belgian stuff. They had sahti but almost half of the other taps seemed to be out. The staff was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. The crowd a mix of people living nearby I think. I was tempted by a 19 euro Les Quebecoise but went for the 47! Euro Cantillon Baie d’Argousie brewed with sea buckthorn fruits. It was a 2002 vintage bottled in 2004, there are possibly less than a dozen bottles of this left in the world as Cantillon no longer brews it... Anyways, a nice place but aside from the Belgian beers it didn’t seem terribly impressive to me. Worth checking out if you want Belgian beers in Helsinki or are in the area.

A bit messy, cluttered, and dirty inside, but it has a certain charm due to a lot of the junk being beer paraphernalia. Not much interesting on tap during our visit, but lots of bottles are available. Sadly, the bottles are in coolers out in the middle of the room and are not protected from either sunlight or bulbs inside the cooler, and indeed a couple that we tried were skunky (one very badly so). No excuse for that, especially at the very high prices being charged. Some rarities, including the special Cantillon Tyrnilambic, but all in all a rather lackluster experience.
