Nice place with a big seating area. Beer menu with description of the beers on offer. I found the service to be good, even though the knowledge about the beers could have been better. I liked this place more than the foorball pub, well wort a visit.

This restaurant/pub near Campo de’ Fiori has the biggest selection of italian micros on draught (35 taps!) and some interesting "foreign" beers (about 6 taps, maybe 7 and sometimes others guest beers and cask on the counter). Amazing food and selection on bottle, the service is inconstant but usually good.

An amazing bar (not sure why it’s entered here as a restaurant), with lots of local micros. Place looks amazing. If you are in Rome, don’t miss it!

This pub is considered the best one in Italy according to the Espresso guide, and I completely agree. I love Baladin beer and this is the right place for me!

The first time we passed by the alley that leads to this little gem, I didn’t think anything about it other than to observe the two small signs pointing the way. The next night, our landlady raved about the place which says something because she doesn’t live anywhere near there, so it’s quite a trek to find it. Good thing we are trekkies and don’t mind traveling a bit for good beer. The selection was fantastic in comparison to anything else we’ve been to in Italy. There were many local beers as well as imports, I had three of their Christmas beers, and I was pleased with all three (Noel was my favorite). MrReaves tried a variety of styles, pleased with all, and finishing off with one of their Barley Wine offerings (which he was not that impressed with). The beer menu is kind of chintzy like some kind of second grade project, but it seems that they might change their offerings weekly and this was the best way to do it. There is also one wall sized chalk board with beer and food stuffs listed. We ate the fish and chips while there. The chips really are chips--not fries--that are super thin and crispy. Very tasty. The other food that we saw served, especially the burgers, all looked absolutely mouthwatering. The ambiance was a little disconnected but relaxing nonetheless. They played mostly jazz music while we were in there. The crowd was pretty eclectic, ranging from smartly dressed middle aged gentlemen to slacker-y looking art students on their laptops the entire night. Our service was good. It might have had to do with us getting there just before the evening rush, but our waitress seemed to know what she was talking about OR she’s been working there long enough to be able to fake it. We will definitely go back here the next time we are in Rome.
