This place is OK i guess. Owner is cool if you get to know him, but I have seen him be a huge asshole to alot of people. Think Homebrew Nazi. Also.... if its busy plan to wait. The hops fridge broke about a year ago, so you have to ask what they have in the tiny selection of filthy plastic cans at the bottom of the yeast fridge. Then they pour the amount that you want into a bag. Usually there is only one person working and everyone else waiting looks at you like WTF as they know it takes an hour for the guy to get hops. Its the same if you need a real grainbill and not the precrushed stale stuff on the shelves. I havent been here in over a year when they had everything I needed for a recipe. Probably the worst run business in the greater Sacramento area. That said, I still kinda like it. It was the first place doing homebrew in Sac and the guy that owns it truly doesnt give a shit so thats refreshing.
