Scruffy dive bar with a great vibe, friendly and helpful staff and locals, and solid beers. Football atmosphere when we visited on a Sunday. Easy walk from Central Station. Worth a look.

medium sized bar with an impressive bottle list (out of the rarer things due to festival-goers in town) and about a dozen taps, half of which seemed to be more common fare. crowded and a bit too noisy for me, so didn’t stay for long.

Nice little pub with a handful of "house beers" (brewed by Danish brewers). Lots of cask ales, pretty small place, very friendly staff, and they will do half pints of beers. Nice varied selection of Danish beers as well as imports, including a fair amount of stuff from the US.

The Orested Olbar is in a semi-basement just opposite the Oresteds Park, still fairly close to the city centre but away from the hustle and bustle. Going down a few steps from the street corner there is an open entrance area with comfy-looking armchairs and sofas. The main bar, which has bare brick walls, is furnished more simply with wooden tables and chairs. There’s also a room to the left of the entrance hall with table football, a dart board and some excellent paint effects.
I really like this place. It’s cosy, with a nice comfortable neighbourhood feel, and there’s a good selection of beers on tap as well as a long bottle list.

Great spot. Has a good ’local’ vibe to it. Lots of good beers on tap, and a good bottle range as well. Plenty of people were watching football on TV during my visit. Average prices, friendly service. Very nice outdoor tables, even though there are only a few. I sat outside, as it was a nice day. I really would not mind having this place as my local.

Pretty nice place I had a few rounds with local Ratebeerians. Preference here for Danish micros, mostly Mikkeller and also Grassroots/Fano, Amager. Loads of oddball American micros too like Cigar City and Founders...things you would never expect in Denmark. Glassware was all perfect for style. Very proper pours. Staff was very knowledgeable about beer. A little pricey but then again I was not used to the price level in CPH, which can be quite a shock for an outsider. Definitely worth stopping by for a few rounds.

This was my first stop on my four beer beer crawl, not a bad place to start with. Its across the street from a nice park and has some good outdoor seating...Nice taps about 10, all local, with a huge beer list. I asked the server for a recommendation and he gave me a great one to start off the first drink of the day on a hot summer’s day. He really knew what he was talking about...The quality of the beer was really nice, huge selection. The beer menu was really good was it was first catergorized by style of beer and country of origin, then at the back just listed all the beers in alphabetical order. I only stayed for one drink here because I was ending my trip out of cash and didn’t want to go the atm machine, as they only accept Danish credit cards.
Good place to go to, worth stopping by but make sure you have CASH if you’re an American.

Great to find a place where it is possible to watch football and drink good beers from tap. At least ten active taps during my two visits in May. Mostly from Danish micros, but also some other very tasty brews. I had a delicious Southern Tier Gemini while watching the match between Manchester City and Tottenham (0-1). Impressive range of bottle beers, too. When I came back on a Sunday there were three or four different Danish football games on the TVs, and I got some decent brews from Beer Here, Grassroots and Mikkeller. Friendly service in a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. Not far from Plan B and great opening hours on Sundays, when many other beer places in Copenhagen are closed (last visited 9th May 2010).

A short walk from the main train station and happens to be one of the earliest places to drink good beer on a Sunday. This is Denmark’s equivalent to a dive bar. They had 12 taps of interesting, mostly Danish beer on offer including some house beers. The bottle list is pretty extensive and includes many Danish, Belgian, US and U.K beers. Prices were decent for this part of the world. Also shows the football if that’s your thing. Well worth a visit when in CPH.
