70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 14/20
This used to be Ortliebs Jazzhaus but that closed a few years ago. My understanding is the owners sold the name to a restaurant group who opened the new Ortliebís at the same location but with a slightly different vibe. Decor is sparse and exactly the same as the old Ortliebís. 10 rotating taps with mostly regular stuff, nothing standout but all solid stuff. They have live show every night. Fun casual place to hear some live music in Northern Liberties. Food is really tasty and very reasonably priced, especially for the area. However, the beer is way overpriced. $6 for a Yards Philly Pale? Címon. I really liked the place but if I go back Iíll be sticking to the can beer menu as that is a bit better of a value. Downer of the can beer menu is the selection is a bit lacking. Has a happy hour from 8-10 where draught beer was $3. Overall, a good place but if youíre drinking draught youíre gonna have a hefty bill at the end of the night.
