Old fashioned place near the shopping center of Oslo. Very quiet at a Thursday evening, only few other people. Service is ok, but the beers lack quality. All my tasters were slightly infected (badly cleaned piping?). Interior is somewhat passť and there is no real athmosphere. Ok if you are around, but not worth a detour.

Average place, with nice view on brewery, quite good selection of beers (own plus guest beers). Beer itself very reasonably priced, but quite average. Good for thirst quenching, but nothing worth remembering.

The good: Nice and cozy ambiance. The bad: Beers are lacking boldness.

Just had my first and probably last visit at this place. I kind of like the ambiance and the service wasnít terrible but this is the second worst brewpub I have ever visited beer wise. 5 of 8 beers where totally ruined by DMS and Diacetyl and almost undrinkable... Donít they clean the tap lines at all at this place?

Walked over from city center and found it was 30 minutes until they opened, so killed some time at The Broker up the street. Came back at 3pm, tried two of the beers in small samples and they were both in terrible shape. Didnít stay long. Had a comfy Brown Bar look and feel, maybe it could have rocked if the beer was any good. Would not recommend based on my experience, which doesnít seem uncommon.

This brewpub is a bit off-center and it is located in what appeared to me as a relatively quiet semi-residential neighbourhood. There is a more lively area a few blocks away, but close to the pub there isnít much happening. Clean interior with somewhat of a classic English pub style feel to it. They had 7 taps in service, all their own beers I believe. This place has no patio whatsoever so we didnít stay long. Prices were among the most affordable Iíve seen in Norway, less than $15 for a full 500ml pint (thatís a cheap price in Norway). I had a pint of their Torpedo (the most interesting beer they had) and I liked it. Their beers are said to be boring but the one and only pint I had there was actually pretty decent. I didnít ask if they do sample trays, not my thing, but most brewpubs usually do that. Clientele was representative of the pub atmosphere, quiet, clean and boring. This pub doesnít seem to be a party place. Classic rock at low volume. Worth a pit-stop but not a detour.

Been here many years agoÖ the atmosphere tends to be cold, uninviting; among the beers there was something lame and something very good.

A nice place with ok athmosphere. Microbrews but average homebrewlike. But worth a visit

This is a pretty nice beer bar, located in Oslo, but with an English pub look. The beers are a bit sub par, but its pleasant nonetheless.
