Well, the music is rather loud here, so conversations are not that easy or pleasant. The beer needs some work, as most seemed under attenuated and fermented hot. Carbonation seemed to also be an issue with the beers. The staff was friendly and helpful as well as willing to discuss the beers.

RiNo location in a single story stucco building. The design is comfortable and seems like garage brewery run by audiophile book collectors, if that makes sense. The Brown Ale was okay (3.4) and the Saison quite poor (2.5). I did the ambiance and Iíd probably drop in regularly if I were in the neighborhood and the beer proved consistently good. For now, itís probably worth a re-try every year or so to see if quality has improved.

(Visited 06/2014): Our Mutual Friend is located north of Downtown on Larimer Street between 28th and 29th. Not too far of a walk from Epic. Street parking is available in the vicinity.
The outside of the building is pretty nondescript, with an off white color and brown door that has their logo on it. Inside, the walls are different gray tones with a wood-topped bar in the rear. Hanging strings of light from the ceiling, and behind the bar is a book shelf with different knickknacks, glassware and the taps in the center and a small board above them listing the beers. There is a patio out back.
The tap room only had 3 beers available on my visit, 2 Brown Ales and a Blonde Ale. The beers were pretty average. There are also a couple bottled beers available.
Service on a quiet weekday evening at the bar was good. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly.
OMF does not serve food but a food truck was stationed outside.
Overall the lack of variety and quality are knocks against this place but the chill setting and staff make up for it somewhat.

Smaller sized tap room on Larimer, less than a mile NE from Coors field. They had 7 beers on tap when I was there, I enjoyed the brown, winter warmer and rauchbier but the others were poor to OK. Kind of a weird crowd for a brewery, but otherwise typical ambiance. Service was fine.

Total hipster joint near Lodo that totally caters to the hipsters and yuppies. Beer quality is pathetic. I guess they do their own malting which seems idiotic when they canít even getting the brewing portion down. The atmosphere is nice.

walked here from Epic. small tasting room with a couple of picnic tables outside. just a few patrons inside. eight beers on tap. the service here was quite good and friendly. a bit of a hipster vibe. not much from the outside that letís you know thereís a brewery here. though the place itself is just fine, the beers here are awful at best. just about all of them had horrible, horrible off flavors and were plainly unpleasant to drink.

We walked here from the Epic tap room since itís only a couple blocks away. From the outside you wouldnít even know it was a brewery. There is a small sign above the door but no logos or information that I could find. On the inside itís kind of plain but otherwise comfortable. The server was nice and set us up with a flight for the group. Itís a shame that the beers are so bad. And I do mean bad. With most of the beer you canít even tell what style it is. Others are just plain offensive. I would not come back here, unless I had some assurance that the beers had improved quite a bit. The area isnít real pretty either. Itís in a run down looking neighborhood that sits right up against the industrial area that Epic is in.

Nice neighborhood taproom off of Larimer with a very hipster feel. Nice little patio. Almost always a food truck outside. The beer is alright.

I visited here on a Thursday night during some apparent art event. The place was bustling with activity with a younger, trendy crowd. The atmosphere is very hipster with all kinds of eclectic nonsense for decor. They had a DJ spinning some records while I was there, he was pretty good. Everyone I ran into here was very nice and interesting. Service was good too. I see other people complained about the quality of the beer. I only had a coffee porter, which is something that would be easy to make and cover up flaws. I liked it well enough, but Iíll have to try other beers. The selection itself was kind of lacking. They had all of five beers on and they were all pretty safe. There was a food truck outside that had some awesome chicken wings. I liked my visit for the atmosphere and the crowd and my one beer was good.

Second re-rate - 7\13 - they were improving for a while, but my past two.visits, the beer has been terrible - even brews that were solid for a little while have turned husky, dirty, poorly extracted, etc. - I would avoid this place - Re-rate - originally a 58 - revisited today and have decided to bump up certain numbers because they have more variety and, more importantly, they are now working out the kinks and producing beers without glaring flaws (as they were on my last visit) - if you have visited in the past, now might be a good time to give them.another shot - still a bit too Portlandia for me, though - // - I have added this place without hours, despite them having posted business hours - they have been open for a few weeks, but, for some reason, are not following the hours posted on their door - every day, they post their opening hours on Facebook - anyway, this is a total hipster joint - let me break down the atmosphere for you - lots of hardwood and iron tables - even smells like wood inside - large bookshelf behind the bar, containing random, beat-up old books, records and dim, cast-iron lamps - customers and the folks running it look right out of the hipster playbook (skinny jeans, cardigans and/or hoodies, mustaches and/or beards, thick-rimmed glasses) - looks like an episode of Portlandia exploded up in this bitch - sadly, the place is all style over substance - the beer ranges from drinkable to terrible (the tart saison is particularly vile) - they brew and malt their own grain - seems like they said to themselves, "hey, we can brew marginally drinkable beer and it might be fun to try malting our own grain" - this is a good premise for a hobbyist, but is pretty terrible as a business plan - the guys are nice, donít get me wrong - their service is good - but the product needs serious work.

It was a cool place to hang out. Enjoyed the patio, perfect on a pretty nice summer night. The beers left a lot to be desired. They had four beers on tap, three were pretty bad. The IPA was drinkable and was the best tonight. I would come here again for the atmosphere. I hope the beer selections improve in the future.
