In an area with so much good beer about it could be nothing but praise to say that this place is a must visit to your trip to Brooklyn. Outside was relatively unassuming except for an intriguing sign that said "still sour after all these years"… Yes they did indeed have a rather great sour festival going on during our visit! Inside the bar is dimly lit with brick walls and long dark wood bar. Contemporary, yet with a classic bar vibe. They had some 30 taps of predominantly sour beer from local breweries to regional and also European. Plenty of weird stuff for me to try. Bottle selection although compact was very interesting, particularly with regards to cider. They also offer single glass pours from some of the bottles they have open. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had a brilliant time here overall.

Stopped in to find a Brooklyn sour event going on, although a few of the kegs had kicked by the time I arrived late in the day. Still, the list was solid, with a number of things I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Service was very friendly and helpful. Food is chips/crisps. Worth seeking out.

One of the better bars in Brooklyn with regard to selection. Service is impeccable.

The painted black exterior doesn’t give too much away but definitely be sure to add this one to your Brooklyn crawl. Interesting tap selection with a diverse mix of breweries and styles. I can’t recall if food was served here. Lively bar during peak times but service didn’t appear to be hindered by this.

Great service. Very efficient. Great selection of beer. The crowd seem to be there to enjoy beer so the place was not noisy. Had a great time. Very knowledgeable bartenders. Definitely a must go place when in the neighborhood.

A very interesting craft beer bar located in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn. Glad I got to check it out. Attractive wooden decor and low key lighting. The tap list was very interesting, and contained a few brews I had never heard of before, but they almost seem to strain a little to be different here. There are other good options thou, if you are not after an oatmeal sour from Saskatchewan or whatever. The servers were friendly and helpful. I would like to come by again sometime.

Why have I never heard of this place until yesterday? It is pretty much exactly what I look for in beer bars. The beer selection is eclectic and large, but not pretentious and full of hyped up beers. I think that I looked at the extensive tap menu an and saw that I haven’t had over 50% of the beers (currently at 3300+ beer ratings). They even had beers from British Columbia, which I have never seen in the US (for that matter, anywhere outside of BC). The bar tenders were nice, knowledgable, and friendly. The atmosphere was nice. The bar itself was not too loud or crowded, even on a Saturday night. No food. Great prices, with options about which size you want. Great.

Stopped by here for a round with Andrew, Ellen, Brendan and street. Dark lit bar with some pinball machines (I think) in the back. Kind of split between old divey feel and craft bar. Nice selection of draft and bottles includes barrier, Westbrook, emilisse, prairie, locals and more. Friendly and helpful bartender while we were there. Would recommend stopping by for a pint if you’re in the neighborhood.
