Quite big place, so it could be very crowded or almost empty. Some Bruuveri/Saimaa brews on tap. Itís changing time to time, so sometimes the selection is rather good, sometimes not. Anyhow itís good place to get the Bruuveri brews. Itís also expensive and the service is not so good, sometimes even rude.

Not a bad place to sample beers from Bruuveri, but owing to the fact that the place is underground at the base of a shopping centre/bus station, I find it can get a bit depressing at times. Having said that, they usually have plenty of beers on tap and a reasonable selection of bottled beers. Itís handy to drink here when youíre waiting for a bus.

This is a brewpub, but more like brewing their own beer, it is a house tap for Saimaan Olut. Place to find rare Bruuveri beers, not much else. Just for a beer, I prefer in Kamppi Rotterdam next to it.

Saimaan Panimo beers are quite rare and this place serves them on tap so big bonus for that. OK ambiance, I like places with different levels or areas. If I remember right the toast I ate was a bit dry and poor for the price. import bottles also available but as said they are a bit expensive. ok service.

Good atmosphere, even though itís obviously a fake interior good buzz in mid evening and reasonable range of beers.

I truly enjoy this place: everything is right where it should be. Nothing special or fancy, but a good place to take a beer before going home. Or before going to work for that matter. Have their own beers.

Cosy place to sit in at. The selection consists mainly of their own Bruuveri labeled products, as well as Saimaan Panimo beers (some of which I havenít seen much of elsewhere). Quite standard pub surroundings.

Old out-of-date review: Canít really add much to what others have said. Occasional gigs, including musicians like Mika Jšrvinen, and Jukka Tolonen.
New review: Lively bustling atmosphere on amateurs nights. More self-brewed and Saimaa beers than before, which themselves are better than before. I go here quite regularly now. Expensive.

Listed as a brewpub, but do they really brew here? To be fair they only claim the stout as their own (although it also seemed to appear as Saimaan Stout at Helsinki Beer Festival). The rest of the "brewpub" beers are Saimaan brews (same ownership) - 5 on my visits, so this is an essential Helsinki stop if you havenít had those before. Guest tap was Ayinger Winter Bock. Some imported bottles, including Daleside from the UK. Itís a cavernous place in a basement (from one side at least) built into the Kamppi complex. Although modern, they have gone for an old, woody look in the decor and fitting that works OK. Iím guessing that this place is aimed at a noisy younger crowd in the evenings but I only visited at quiet times in the afternoon so I canít really say. Itís certainly not a beer geek type of place. The big screen showing continuous videos (but without the accompanying sound when I was there - the soft rock backround music in the pub was unrelated to the videos) is an irritation so I positioned myself where I couldnít see it (difficult). The service was fine in so far as going up to a bar and being poured a drink promptly can be. And the staff didnít laugh too much at my attempts at Finnish pronunciation. Didnít eat.

A new place with not that many bottles available (and the prices are pretty steep). Pop in to sample a few of their own (or Saimaan Panimoís) brews on tap, but for bottled stuff go elsewhere.
