The Partizan brewery is an essential stop on any respectable Bermondsey beer crawl. Closest tube stop is unsurprisingly Bermondsey and the brewery itself is located down the somewhat industrial Almond road hidden under a railway arch. Very much a small working brewery than a tap room, so expect no frills other than a few benches outside and a brewery cat. What it lack’s in aesthetics it makes up for in the quality and inventiveness in beer. They have up to 2 taps on the go (including tap-only specials) and a selection of about 10 bottles for drink-in or take-away. Prices are pretty good actually. Perhaps not a place to spend all day at, but I always enjoy my visit.

Pas beaucoup de produits disponibles lors de mon passage mais j,aime beaucoup leurs bières en général. Un autre joyau caché derrière une porte de garage. J’adore les samedi à Londres.

Perhaps the smallest space on the brewery run but with one of the widest ranges of bottles. Choice is really between a couple of taps and the bottles. We had to stand to the front in rather a deep puddle, comfortable this is not. Certainly worth visiting though, just treat the whole run as one big pub.

Very small brewery inside a railway arch a short walk from the Kernel. Seating is limited to a couple picnic tables outside. 2 taps and about 10 or so bottles with an occasional brewery-only beer. Prices are the good--the cheapest you’ll find for Partizan bottles. Good for a quick stop when visiting the Bermondsey breweries.

Small garage in an industrial area. Outside seating. Smaller and less organized that The Kernel “garage”, but also a much younger brewery. Very friendly and smiling staff. Only one beer on tap, but a couple bottles available. All from the brewery. Bottles can be drink on premise or bought to go. Prices are good for London and the best prices for their beers, but there wasn’t a huge difference with Kris Wines and Beer Boutique. Fun brewery to visit and a nice addition to a trip to The Kernel.

If you go here, you go for the beer. It’s a railway arch on an industrial estate and of the breweries around here its probably the smallest and least comfortable. The beer is amazing though and you obviously won’t find it cheaper anywhere else.

If you start at Kernel, this could be an easy part 2, a 10 min lazy walk SE along the arches, you find this tiny spot with great beers, enjoy. Industrial minimalism.

Of the three breweries set under the railway in Bermondsey, Partizan occupies the smallest arch and looks the most "home grown", with old brewery kit (from the Kernel, I believe) and foam bubbling up over the top of the kettle. Having said that, they have a prolific output of beers which are usually very good indeed and there’s a nice atmosphere there on Saturdays. It’s well worth a visit as part of a tour of what has been dubbed in Bernt Rostad’s excellent blog the "Beer Mile of London" (see http://beer-trotter.blogspot.no/2013/12/the-beer-mile-of-london.html). If you’re looking for a fancy tasting room, that it is not! But nice friendly owner and I guess he’s just starting out, so unless you have bundles of money, you have to start somewhere. Good beers, a bit cramped but still enjoyable, I’m looking forward to going back and see how things have progressed!!
