Brewery under the aches. Spartan to say the least. I always thought if you are going to open your premises to people to come an drink you are doing it because you actually appreciate their custom. Staff was friendly but the whole set up is just so sparse and so little effort has been put into creating a slightly comfortable area to enjoy the beers that you actually wonder if they want people going there....

Much more laid back that the Kernel, Brew by Numbers and Anspach & Hobday/Bullfinch. Nice beer, good prices and outdoor seating

Another Bermondsey railway arch microbrewery. Reasonable selection of their beers on tap and in bottles. Girl serving was not that interested or knowledgeable about the beer which is disappointing for this type of place. Beer and artwork good. Place not great, but worth going to if in the area.

Well what can I say. We stopped here during the brewery tour around the Bermondsey area with RBESG 2014. We were warned so fair enough, but it was simply the worst place we visited. We had to stay outside while a number of different bottles were brought outside. No tour through the brewery, no talking to the brewers, no chance to buy extra bottles. I’ve got to be honest, this was a bit disappointing, especially since their beers are so good.

Quite like this small place, nice athmosphere, good selection of their own beers (in bottles).

Ten minutes walk from Bermondsey tube station. Located in a small street and under the railway arches. Some tables outside so we were lucky as the weather was fine. 6 beers on tap with really interesting Saisons, IPAs and Cuvees. Lots of Partizan bottles available. Reasonable prices. Open until 5 pm on a Saturday. Beer was awesome.

Pretty strange stop during RBESG. They didn’t seem to pleased we were there, the prices were pretty high compared to the rest of the week I was in London. They gave us a few bottles to share between all of us. The beer wasn’t anything to write home about. The only seating was on a few benches outside. They were bottling when we got there, then they shut the doors so we couldn’t even see in the brewery.

I was warned this was an odd stop and it is. A couple of rickety benches is all we got and service wasn’t to welcoming. Selection was their own beers. No food of course and little in the way of service. I would skip it as their stuff is available around town.

The Partizan brewery is an essential stop on any respectable Bermondsey beer crawl. Closest tube stop is unsurprisingly Bermondsey and the brewery itself is located down the somewhat industrial Almond road hidden under a railway arch. Very much a small working brewery than a tap room, so expect no frills other than a few benches outside and a brewery cat. What it lack’s in aesthetics it makes up for in the quality and inventiveness in beer. They have up to 2 taps on the go (including tap-only specials) and a selection of about 10 bottles for drink-in or take-away. Prices are pretty good actually. Perhaps not a place to spend all day at, but I always enjoy my visit.
