Classic old "brown pub" close to the main shopping street in Århus. Smoking is allowed wich is a big drawback for me. Polite and efficient service. 2 taps of Tuborg pilsner and classic, 4-6 bottles with Carls Porter and Leffe blonde / Bruine as best options.

Cosey pub but they dont have any interresting beers, and its not a suitable ratebeerplace. Best beers: Leffe blonde and Brune and Carls porter. 2 tabs and 15 bottles in total.

"Passagen" is the place to go for a good deal. The beer is cheap and the prices proggressive, as drinks get cheaper the more you buy. Nice and talkative service. Located in a small alley right next to "Strøget" - the big pedestrian shopping street in the middle of the city, you have to look for it. The clientel is a motley crew, but a lot of working-class, old and young come here. Though on weekend nights it can get crowded with students looking for a cheap buzz before moving on. Smoking is of course allowed. "Passagen" is quite an institution in Aarhus pub history, and the pub has been here since 1913
