Visited several times in the past. Nice, cosy small pub in the city center, easy to find. Cosy atmosphere, nice selection of belgium beers, served in good condition. They do nice food as well, have a nice selection of bottle beers as well. For sure worth a visit, whenever in Antwerpen..

Located right next to the gorgeous cathedral, this bar-and-restaurant is a cozy refuge from the usy life in the Old Town. The interior is rather cramped but cozy enough - better enjoy your beer at one of the tanles outside, though. The selection is okay but I have seen better place in town. Tje staff are very friendly and busy, so they do not have time to talk about beer. The food is quite good; actually, I have never had such an advanced cheese sandwich in my life as I had here. Not exactly cheap but rather cheerful. Worh a visit.

Great little cosy pub for beer lovers which is located near the cathedral in Antwerp. Stay away if you are looking for sun or you don’t like ’windy’ places. (the spot where PV is located is known for the most ’windy’ place in antwerp which you will soon notice when you walk by) The good thing is the great selection of tap beers and beer on bottle. Make sure you check out their soups too which taste terrific on a cold winter’s day.

Bar with the normal classic Belgian beers, nothing exceptional or outstanding. Prices are rather expensive. Friendly staff.

Cosy, small place, gets crowded and noisy easily. Friendly service and decent selection. Cheese plate was mediocre.

friendly service. we went at ( and actualy a bit after) closing time . i could get in trough my compagnie who knows them .
service was very friendly ( also to me , as the ’new’ guy )
selection is very decent in classic beers, with a few ’ticks’ but nothing shocking / people will search after. just a nice place to enjoy a drink, withoud the stress of finding the most ticks per hour...
value is good as wel . not supercheap, but not expensive neither
great thing is this bar is open very late .

Location is great but it’s a very small place where tables and chairs are difficult to acquire. Avoid if you are with a big group. Otherwise nice service, good bottle selection and always something nice on tap. Not a place for ticks but just a good, small bar in a central location.

(Visited July 2012) Cosy beer bar in the shadow of the cathedral. A fairly small place with a small seating area upstairs as well. Service was quite efficient and friendly. Beer selection is not massive, but well selected, I had the Duvel Tripel Hop on tap for example. The location means it’s quite handy for tourists (which would include most of us), so that’s a fair part of the clientèle. Worth a visit on a stroll around central Antwerpen, and then head down to ’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske, which is a couple of hundred meters away.
