Supert sted | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 KnutAlbert (240) Oslo, Norway | May 23, 2013 Great pub with a fine range of beer on tap and in bottles. Well established, a must stop when in Kristiansand. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 16/20 Bryne (214) Bryne, Norway | October 14, 2012 A nice, sentally located pub. My wife knew where to find me when she got tired of shopping. Patricks is a kind of Nøgne Ø showcase pub where you can enjoy their latest brew on tap. But, I would like to see more craft beer on tap. Nøgne Ø and Mikkeller are outnumbered by major industrial sellers. Nevertheless, it is an"Irish" look alike pub with a really good beer selection on tap and in bottles. Patricks also have a new beer event the first Monday every month and hosts a beer school. (Visited October 12th 2012) | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 gunnar (209) Sandnes, Norway | February 12, 2009 Here you can get a decent meal, paired with a wide selection of Norwegian micros, not only Nøgne Ø on tap, but also bottled Haandbryggeriet and Ægir.
Staff pretty knowledgable | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 yngwie (137) Kristiansand, Norway | April 29, 2007| Updated February 26, 2011 Quite uninteresting compared to what you find in more civilized countries, but at least they have some Nøgne Ø, a decent collection of Trappist beers and some others, including pale lagers and Guinness. Haven’t tried the food, but it seems to be decent pub-food. It is a quite cozy place that can be a bit crowded in the evenings, and there’s a year-round outdoor seating area as well. Definately a place to visit if you come to town. | 62 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 Sigmund (113) Tau, Norway | April 16, 2007| Updated February 26, 2011 What Beer_2000 said. Nice enough pub, better-than-average selection by Norwegian standards. Did not eat when we visited. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Beer3000 (71) Kristiansand, Norway | April 11, 2007| Updated December 6, 2011 Not a top spot at international standard, but one of the better Norwegian pubs and the definitives best in Kristiansand. Many trappist beers and almost everything from Nøgne Ø. Friendly and entusiastic staff.
Too crowdie and busy at weekend nights for the beer geek. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 RuneStumo (58) FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway | February 21, 2013| Updated December 6, 2011 24.01.2013. Very nice brown pub with a very good selection of beers. This is also the pub you may run into Erik or Yngvar, so this must be a nice place for a beer or 10. Last time I was here I told them that there was one beer style that I had not tastet. The unblended Lambic. The waiter went down to the basement with Beer3000 and came up with a bottle!! Fantastic! | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 Palme (47) Bergen, Norway | August 20, 2012| Updated December 6, 2011 Easy to locate as it is as good as it’s pretty much in the middle of Kristiansand city. The selection was really good when I was here 6 months ago, and lately it has just exploded. The staff seemed knowledged in the art of talking to customers and knowing what they actually serve. Did not try the food, but of what I saw and smelled, it’s in the upper class of your typical pub food. Nice and cozy, and there is also good possibilities to sit outside with heating lamps. My first place to go on my next Kristiansand visit. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 espenra (31) Kurland, Norway | November 19, 2008| Updated February 28, 2009 A very nice pub with a decent selection of beers, and one of the best in Norway when it comes to Nøgne Ø beers. The staff is helpful and friendly, but their knowledge of beer varies. It can get very crowded at friday and saturday evenings. |
