Nice to get a fresh Lager in Singapore. Good if you want one of the two beers, and of course the quality is high, as is the price.

Good german fare. It’s Paulaner so the basic quality is there.

Happy hour occurs during a large chunk of the afternoon so go early and you should be ok. Still overpriced but what are you gonna do. The service is friendly. Atmosphere is what you would expect, corporate with German theme. Bar on bottom, restaurant on top. 3 beers on tap including seasonal. All in decent condition although the Brauhaus Diamond seasonal was a tad buttery.

Go at happy hour - two beers for the price of one makes them decidedly affordable. Insanely expensive otherwise. Not the easiest to find based on the address alone either, I’m still not sure how we found it. It’s near a footbridge overpass thing over Raffles Blvd. Faux Bavarian fitout done pretty well and the beers are pretty decent. Worth a look but behind Brewerkz and Pump House.

overpriced even by Singapore standards. The beer is fine although there are only two choices: munich lager and dark lager. The beers are good but not all that distinctive.

Nice enough German style brewpub with two draught beers available - a pils and dunkel. Ridiculously expensive place to drink but that’s Singapore for ya, folks. Good attentive staff and the food is OK. Beware nights when they have an embarrassingly cheesy karaoke band playing...you’ve been warned.

Comfortable atmosphere for a German-style Sunday brunch. Two house beers (light & dark lager) were clean. Pleasant non-smoking environment with German music and 20-something crowd. Well-lit circular mini-bier hall layout. Attentive staff. A bit hard to find behind the Singapore Pacific Hotel at Millenia Walk. A fun place.

It’s strange to be in a German pub in Singapore, but the place is nice, anyway; there was some good live band playing music. Maybe too crowded...

Be prepared for sticker shock - drinking beer in Singapore is expensive. I was at the Paulaner Brauhaus in June 2006, and, if I recall correctly, a pint was in the neighbourhood of SG$14. This hits me as being a bit much, since the beer is made within reach of your seat. That said, the beer was fresh and tasty, if unremarkable. The unfiltered lager reminded me of zwickelbier; the dunkles was malty and more-ish. Good session beers, if you have deep pockets. The ambiance is that of a brewpub - copper brewing vessels and the aroma of malt and hops. It’s a popular lunch spot for local business types. If you like sitting in an oven, enjoy the patio. If you’re like me, enjoy the air conditioning inside. I didn’t eat, so I can’t comment on the food.

Upscale, clean and very expensive German type restaurant. Restaurant upstairs and pub downstairs. Snacks were ok, beers boring. I ate bratwurst and sauerkraut - of course.
