The best selection of beers in town. The staff can always find the perfect beer for you between the 12 taps. Have been there lots of times, each time trying at least one new beer.

Nice tapas, beer and wine bar. 12 draft beer taps, although it is not always all of them are in use. The bottle selection is not flashy, but consists of a nice little selection of mostly Belgian beers. Perfectly located if you are going to a concert at Vega (where the beer-election is horrible and the prices are absurd).Though considered as a beer place, the nearby Mikkeller and Fermentoren are preferable.

Pegasus is a stylish, assured and relaxed sort of place just off the far end of Istedgade – not far from the Mikkeller bar or Olbuttikken and very handy to stop off at on the way to or from the beer festival (if it’s being held at Carlsberg). It has three rooms, two of which adjoin each other through a round brick arch. There’s bare brick in one room, rough greyish beige plaster in another and the third room is like a whitewashed cellar. All have wooden tables and chairs, red check plastic tablecloths, a few plants and lots of candles; in an opening between the bar and the middle room there’s one wonderful brass candelabra which will soon disappear under the dripped wax of its three candles. The brick bar has gleaming glassware suspended over it in a brass hanger and three tall stools covered in brown and white cow hide. I went in at around 1700 on a Saturday when the barman was just setting up for the evening and there was a delicious smell of garlic coming from the kitchens, where they prepare tapas and other meals. All the 12 beers listed on the blackboard were priced at DK59 but the barman said that, as I was early and it was raining, mine would be only DKK35. The choice on offer that day was Gudelos (Djaevlebryg), Funky Monk (Hornbeer), Bernardus 12, Hvede Rose, Valeir Donker, Ferdinand Pils, Oko hvede, Magna, Valeir Blond, Fano Vadehav, Buffalo Bitter and Schwarze bock. As you can see, the brewery wasn’t listed for all the beers but the barman seemed to know his stuff and the fact that Chris, Per and Patrick all found something they hadn’t had before must say something about the list. It was really nice to sit down here after some hours of day three of the beer festival. Had a plate of tapas and a couple of nice beers. The selection isn’t the most exciting for a beer geek, but it’s varied and actually really nice. The service was a bit slow, but that night it didn’t matter too much, we were pretty worn out and had plenty of time, but it shouldn’t be as slow as it was. Wouldn’t mind returning though.

Situsated close to Vega. Very fine tapas to reasonable prices. A fine selection of ales on tap and bottle. Unfortunately the taps had been almost emptied the evening before wa came, but still they got a fine selection.

Begge gange meget god betjening.

Small and cozy cafe, not far from Vega and about 10 min walk from the central station in Copenhagen. They got a nice selection of crafted beers on tap, especially from Mikkeller. Nice homepage but there listed beers isn’t always updated.

Placed in central copenhagen in the Enghave-plads-area in Vesterbro. Has outdoor serving in summer and cosy celler-like atmosphere indoor. The food is normally really good and you can get a very good tapas from Italy, Spain, France and danish ecological farmers- everything changes with the seasons. Normally (but not always) the staff knows what they are talking about. The beer and wine selection is good - unfortunately the huge beer-card is not always updated - but they always got some great stuff from microbrewers as ex Mikkeller on tap and in bottles. A great place to start or end an evening... or just spend all night there.
