Visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Thereís nothing like a nice India Pelican Ale to go along with a nice breakfast burrito, which was what I had. Very tasty. The service there was outstanding, as the hostess was extremely cheerful and prompt. Our waitress was extremely nice as well, and very good with the service. The place is very cool looking, with it being right on the beach. This is one of the best brewpubs I have ever been to.

This place has a great setting right on the beach. Wonderful ambiance. Friendly helpfull staff. Great service and some of the tastiest beers you will find anywhere. Can not comment on the food though, as we did not eat.

I accidentally stumbled upon this place while looking for Bob Straub State Park, and wow. Really wow. I ordered a Wee Heavy and joined some others sitting on the sand dunes outside the pub. Gorgeous view of the ocean (we saw whales!), really friendly waitstaff and clientele. The place was a bit crowded for those who might want to sit inside, but the obvious thing to do here is get your beer from the bar and go sit outside... take off your shoes and put your toes in the sand. The beer was great - later I got the mahi tacos which were also delicious. Some might say this place is pricey, but itís really one of a kind, absolutely worth every penny and more. Go at sunset, you wonít regret it.

One of the most memorable brewpub visits Iíve ever made. Stunning, dramatic location with panorama windows facing the stormy sea. Beers at a quality that few brewpubs anywhere can match and good service. Whenever I try to shortlist the best brewpubs Iíve visited this comes up asmy first thought.

Iím a bit partial to this place. I grew up coming to Pacific City and just love the dune and Haystack Rock, not to mention The Cape. I came here to spend my honeymoon and low and behold there was a brewpub here. It had been a few years since I had been here, so this was a pleasant surprise. I go back everytime I visit Oregon. The beers are outstanding everytime, I especially like their IPA. The food is very good, and I tried the Clam Chowder for the first time on my last visit. I understand why itís won awards. Good Stuff.

Pelican pub is a great place, right off the beautiful beach. They have a great variety of microbrews which have earned them numerous awards in yearly competitions.

A beautiful spot to try some classic Oregon and PacNW-style beers. If youíre there in the Spring, the Riptide Red is not to be missed. The Tsunami Stout was worth a 2-hour drive from Portland once a month in the winter for me. Also the food is excellent.

Visited the amazing Pelican brewery for the second time this past week. Once again was I completely blown away by itís beauty. Located directly on the beach at Pacific City, right in front of Haystack Rock, you can sit down to enjoy damn near close to completely excellent food, while taking in numerous award winning Pelican beers. I was able to try the new "Brune" this time around, it definitely smelled like a familiar yeast strain (though they would not say what it was). Overall I am completely blown away by this place...being in the sun, drinking world class (mainly) American style beers...and OH YES, the Pelican IPA and Tsunami Stout...perfectly balanced brews. The one drawback - they just do not want to get any bigger, meaning, you can really only find their bottles in Oregon. Regardless, one of the best brewery experiences any of us beer geeks can ask for. Definitely worth the trip out to the coast!
