Spacious pub with a good range of cask ales and more interesting stuff on keg/bottle. Really enjoyed the pizza. Good pub.

A large, spacious pub renowned for its beer selection although it seemed to be limited to mainly Milton beers when I visited. It was a Saturday evening and it was very busy but quite quiet as many of the customers (students perhaps?) seemed to be reading or playing board games!

Big pub. Great pub. Like my old sixth form, but with great beer. Love the blackboard and array of furniture. 2 mins from the Cock Tavern in exciting Hackney. Lovely.

Large and airy single-room pub with a tie to Milton. Usually around 6 or 7 Milton beers on cask, 3 or 4 guests, and real cider & perry. Bottles as well (London, Belgian, foreign beers) and a weissbier and lager on tap. A range of food is produced, including a selection of pizzas, and with veggie & vegan options. Pub can be busy in the evenings as there is quite often an event, quiz or meet-up of some kind. Has provided a reliable source of well-kept beer for quite some time.

Big spacious Milton pub, with a very nice range of the house beers, featuring Marcus Aurelius and Nero when I dropped by, although barman told me the MA only came on once a month. Busy in the evenings with a hip young crowd, but is relatively unpretentious considering the propensity for hipster cloning in Hackney. Liked the vibe in here a lot and thereís plenty of decent beers to satisfy the average beer nerd. Great vibe, great beers and very friendly bar service.

A large, high-ceilinged corner pub. Rather quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. Nice enough service once the girl arrived though with me being about the only customer there, who can blame her. A good selection of Milton beer, a few visiting ones as well. Pretty nice.

A fairly large and spacious pub that has a feel something like a community centre/after-school club inside. Knackered furniture, table football tables and friemldy atmosphere. They have an impressive 16 taps with a wide array of Milton beers (which are not too common in London) and a few guests in good condition. We were more than happy with a Nero & Marcus Aurelius! Small London breweries such as Crate are represented in bottle format. A solid place all-round and a great stop between The Cock Tavern & Clapton Hart!

Visited several times, and really loves the cosy atmosphere this place have. Nice selection of beers ( lots of Milton beers, naturally ), served in good condition and with a smile from the friendly and service-minded staff. A few bottles are available as well. They do some great food and dessert, so for sure worth another visit..

Good spacious pub with guest beers and usually good quality Milton beers. Not quite as avant garde as Cock Tavern in more ways than one... The beers tend to be more yesteryear but that will suit some tastes. If you have time worth a visit.

We visited here for the first time on Good Friday 29th March 2013. As you can see from the image the pub occupies a prime position and sits on a junction. It is a large pub with the bar ahead of you as you enter. There were probably 15-16 beers on handpump with many from the Milton core range alongside some small micros. We had the Beavertown 8 Ball IPA in bottle another v.good offering from this brewery. The food (pizzas) looked good and they were doing a brisk trade. The layout was mainly scrubbed wooden tables and a wooden floor, clean, tidy and simple, I liked it. A very good pub just 5 mins walk around the corner from The Cock Tavern.
