I like to hit this place when I am in town to stock up on the brews I cannot get back in MD. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable. Great to talk beer with them. Selection is very good with many beers I never see in my area. Prices are OK, but the rarer stuff can cost you. Overall, it is a must stop anytime I am in town. Thanks for keeping such a great place.

Low marks for ambiance being that it’s a hole in the wall liquor shop. But WHAT a beer selection! When you walk in, it looks like your run of the mill liquor shop but as soon as you lay eyes on the beer section, you realize you have found something quite special.

I was visiting Livermore for a business trip. Based on rateBeer comments, I had to stop by. Amazing. One of the few places I’ve been recently where there was more on the self that I had not tried than I had tried. Unfortunately, I did not have the proper glassware to sample my selections. Not to fear, they were kind enough to go in the back and find me a Lost Abbey goblet (which I had been wanting anyway). Prices seemed a little high, but I did not have the ability to comparison shop for a really good opinionbased on the area. Perry’s is definitely worth the stop.

Incredible selction. I MUST stop by Perry’s every time I head to the bay area from Sacramento. It’s not hard to spend a quick $150 there. VAST selection, and well worth your time to browse every shelf in every door, since you’ll never know what gems you’ll come across. Reasonably priced. Harpreet is very helpful, knowledgable, and inviting. Well worth the time to stop by.

Harpreet has quite a handle on beers. He offered an Upland Raspberry Lambic. Gave a rundown on what had just arrived and was in boxes. There’s a lot of beer, a lot of good beer, a lot of hard to find (in NorCal) beer. I picked up 10 I’d never rated or mostly even seen. And the man says he’s going to reduce the wine stock to make more room for beer. The sign on the front says "Craft Beer". Yep. Definitely worth going out of the way to see.

Nice selection of rare beers and I could have easily dropped hundreds of dollars if I had that kind of disposable income. I came away with bottles of Nogne Imperial Stout, Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, St Bernardus Abt 12, Abbaye des Rocs Grand Cru and Rochefort 6. There were many other hard to find American and European specialty brews that will draw me back for future visits. Livermore makes a great day trip from the Bay Area and this place is a must visit for craft beer geeks although the prices are a tad high.

Nice selection of beers from all over the world with lots of west coast stuff. The beer manager waited on me and talked a bit after he saw the bottles I was picking up. When I mentioned RateBeer he asked if I would post a review. Nice place with a huge selection.

This place is Disneyland for Craft beer drinkers. You can figure on paying about $2.00 for every minute your in the store. I dropped $73.00 in a snap. I scored a couple of beers I really really wanted to try. A New Glarus a Bells and a Founders. I didn’t even get too see everything in back. Would love to make the trek again with a fellow RB fan so send me a email.

Awesome selection of American and Scandinavian stuff that you don’t find anywhere else near here. Great service, and you have to appreciate the effort that they go through to put the selection together. That being said, most of it just doesn’t seem to be worth it for me, as "grey market" selections can be mail-ordered or traded for cheaper, and many other items can be had for less money at other popular bay area stores. Key for a few things, but the overall selection is less usable than numbers would suggest, unless money is not a factor.
