Phantom Canyon is a really cool brewpub in downtown. I wasnít expecting much from the quality of beers just because theyíve been around for a long time, have a killer location, and seem to focus heavily on the food and pool hall. I was pleasantly surprised. There was a great selection spanning interesting styles and while there were definitely a few misses for me, there were a couple beers I thought were excellent. The smoked porter and double IPA were my favorites. Happy hour is a great value, and prices are pretty standard outside of that. I ate the beef/bacon sliders and helped finish off the fried chicken plate. The food is above average, I would say. Service was excellent at the bar. Upstairs is a pool hall with another bar and a killer rooftop patio.

Awesome place in downtown C. Springs. Second story is just a bar and pool. About twelve beers on tap at once, two were cask ales. Very impressed with some of the beers, had a couple of bottles for sale too. Didnít eat. Waitstaff was very beer savvy and nice. Value was good. Overall, impressed with the establishment and the beer. Pleasant surprise.

Not sure why so many people are down on this place, itís a solid brewpub. 12 beers on tap (6 standard beers and 5 special/seasonal releases), so the selection is good and they offer a flight of 11 2-3 oz samples for $11. So you can try most all of them without breaking the bank and pick your favorite or get the 12th beer in a pint. I had the porter brats and they were quite good. My bro really liked the chicken & waffles. They also offer growler fills and a few special release bottles to-go. None of their beers were off the charts, but many of them were good solid beers (with a couple drain pours mixed in).

Fun late night visit here with a good buddy. An old school brewpub, no pretension, just good solid brews in a warm and relaxed environment. Spoke to the brewer on hand, got some nice offers of samples and some pointers to menu highlights. Well located, too. Do check it out if in town.

Great food. Great location. Beer is pretty standard nothing really stands out but is consistant. Probably best brewery and food combo in town. Other places have better beer for sure but this is got the package.

Best happy hour in town ($2.75 pints and free pool). They make a wide variety of beers, ranging from Saisons to BA Barleywines. Trinity and Bristol are more popular, but Phantom offers greater variety than Bristol and is significantly cheaper than Trinity.

Located in downtown Colorado Springs street parking was hard to score close to building and I refuse to pay $6 for parking to hang out in a place as lame as Colorado Springs. The downstairs area was closing but they have a large pool hall upstairs full of people who apparently couldnít tell the difference between chicken salad and chicken shit. The hefe I had was shockingly bad and I thought it would be a waste a time to sample more if they could fuck up such a pure and innocent style so badly. Did I mention it was incredibly loud and most of the patrons spoke in series of shrieks and grunts? Probably a minor detail.

Decent enough place, good location downtown. It was kinda dead on Friday night, but it was a brewpub atmosphere. Selection is pretty good, lots of different styles available. Food was OK - the chicken was great, but the waffles arenít that good. The value is okay.

Pretty standard CO brewpub. Downstairs is a large dining area, which I canít really speak to. Upstairs is the main bar along with a number of nice pool tables; this area is also 21 and up, which is nice. Large number of house beers to choose from across a number of styles. Some can be really good, but the standard offerings are just mediocre. Food is decent and the service is typically pretty good, though things can slow down when theyíre busy.
