Spacious place, lots of seating in the restaurant area as well as the bar. In addition to their beers they have a small-but-solid lineup on tap. Smokers are corralled into a separate section. The food is tasty and creative - not your standard brewpup stuff.
2/19/16 - Came late one Friday, very crowded but able to get a seat at the bar. This place was highly recommended for the pizza and beers, a recommendation not only spot on, but even exceeding my high expectations. The two beers I had, The Bowie Beer and the award winning The Weight Beer, were excellent, as good as their respective namesakes. The pizza was very good, in terms of taste, texture and crust. Not sure why I never made it here before, though I definitely want to hit this again, both for the beer and pizza.
East coast style pizza and beer destination. Taplist includes both their own beers (expect a weizen, at least one IPA, goldenarm, and one dark) as well as a few beers from other breweries (including some locals). Generally also a seasonal collaboration or specialty which is what we go there for. Easy to get to from Wicker Park Blue Line (Damen/North/Milwaukee) stop. Go early to avoid the crowds and a wait.
Huge pizzas, a couple of excellent beers, tons of TVs with college football on and a very nice space. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Value was very good. Pizza was outstanding. Probably only 8 beers on tap but a bunch of guest taps as well from local breweries. Cool place.
Very chill, relaxed, and inviting restaurant and brewery in Wicker Park - wide range on customers, from young hipsters to yuppies families and their kids - moderate-sized, U-shaped bar - chill set-up, with a laid-back neighborhood pub feel - not an extensive tap list (about 7 beers), but a decent mix of styles, with America, Belgium, England, and Germany represented - quality is hit or miss - okay prices for the area, and everything is available in a three ounce taster for one buck - some guest beers, but nothing rare or exciting - pizza of moderate quality for mostly fair prices - service was incredibly friendly and attentive - made me feel very at home and welcome - not exactly a beer nerd spot, which is perhaps why I like it - mostly a neighborhood brewery doing its thing and creating a homey environment - I really like it.
