10% reduction for CAMRA members! Decent old pub with some nice tiling, now updated with a Thai menu of basic but tasty food. Standard selection of beers.

Lovely traditional type pub tucked away from the main area of Kentish Town but still easy enough to get to. There is a grandly fitted out bar and comfortable seating areas. There is a good atmosphere and the Thai Food is really pretty decent and filling. The beer range is perhaps a little staid, but certainly worth a look.

This can be a stop-over on the way to Southampton Arms, a little further North of the station. Charming pub but beer selection is so-so.

A great “locals’ local” with good beer.
The Pineapple is at the end of a terrace of elegant Georgian houses in a quiet, village-like enclave of Kentish Town. It has traditional wallpaper, a lovely old bar and high ceilings.
When we went in, early on new year’s eve, it immediately felt homely and welcoming and the service was very efficient. The bar area at the front was quite busy, jovially occupied by families (including a baby in a pram) and old locals so we went through a snug little area to the large conservatory at the back where there was a younger, well-heeled crowd. There’s a small outside area backing onto a London brick alleyway and seating upstairs too.
There are twelve taps in total, five of them hand pumps with interesting, mainly locally produced beer which was in very good condition.

Hidden away between Kentish Town and Tufnell Park. Great looking pub with an lovely old traditional decor. Feels like a locals place. Nice staff and sounded like a decent jukebox. Was here for the beer festival so can’t really say how good the selection is normally, but did see Camden Hells Lager on draft and I know they normally have a few cask beers on. Looked like an Otley was coming on soon. Really liked this place and can’t believe I haven’t been before given how close it is to my house.

Visited this pub 31/7-11 together with some RB friends doing a small pubcrawl.
As the name says, the pineapple is the theme of this pub. It´s an older traditionel city pub, well hidden in a small street. And with pineapple decor everywhere, windows, mirrors, lamps etc.
The bar area is just inside the door, which gives you the impression of this is a very small pub, but in fact it is rather large. They do have food but we didn´t have any. They have a beers garden as well.
Nice and friendly staff, and well served beers.

6 casks, quite interesting ones. Strange location and it has a local atmosphere. Small patio outside.
