I had a rather long walk from Kulovy Blesk up to Korunni 106, and had no problems finding the door to the HooDoo Music Club and Pivni Rozmanitost. They have a shared entrance and the toilets are downstairs at the HooDoo Music Club. By the way, the music club have a quite good beer selection in bottles and on tap. Pivni Rozmanitost is a beer shop with 4 craft beers on tap and lots of bottles from Nomad, Kocour and Matuska in the fridge. The bottled selection from Franken impressed me! I saw rauchbier I have never found in Bamberg or around in Franken. I enjoyed beers from Brevnovsky Benedict and Nomad. All in good condition, fresh from tap. Will be back! A short walk down to Flora Metro Station and suddenly you are back "downtown" (Visited March 16th 2013)

Not a particularly pleasing experience here. Spent a lot of time looking for the place. Once inside, we got a beer on tap that never should have been served (they were having problems with their gas supply, which is understandable just don’t serve sludge and expect people to pay for it). Service was really slow. They do have a great selection however, a lot of wanted Czech stuff plus they even almost tempted me into imports. Prices were a bit on the high side of what I was expecting, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t reasonable (for a foreigner, there is no problem and I didn’t get a chance to compare with different stores).

Strange experience here, at the new location. First off, there is no sign outside that says you have to walk into the Hoodoo Club to actually find the store. We called to find out if we had the right address and the chap who answered rudely hung up on me after 5 seconds, probably because he wasn’t comfortable speaking in another language than Czech. He didn’t bother talk to us either when we came in a few minutes later. Then we asked for one of the house beers on tap to drink while we decide what bottles to buy (awesome selection of rare Czech countryside brews in PET bottles). The lady serves us the ugliest beer I’ve seen in a long time, filled with yeast sludge and half an inch of hop particles (when settled at the bottom of the glass). Absolutely horrendous. When my friend takes the glass back full, she insists he has to pay for it. And then when we wanted to take our choice of bottles to leave, it took them about 10 minutes PER PERSON to tally everything. Anyway, they’ve got an excellent selection of brews, from CZ and afar, including a few white whales (Norrebro Little Korkny Niepoort, for example), so they’ve got me interested. But they must get their act together because the first visit for me otherwise was hugely disappointing.

Cracking shop. Sells perhaps the best selection in PRague (Zly Casy?). Czech micro, German oburities and heavyweights alike. The chap behind the counter is behind Nomad brewing (mad props). The place is about to shut and relocate to The Hoo-Doo club. Even better for me. I hope it maintains it’s high standards.

Small beer shop near U Slovanské lípy, now sadly out of business, but worth a detour if you’re going to Pivovarsky Klub. Didn’t see too much rare German stuff, but they are well-stocked on Czech micros. The guy at the counter knew his stuff, spoke English and recommended a few bottles, they also had 2 beers on tap (Břevnovský Benedict Russian Imperial Stout and Nomad IPA). Prices are quite cheap.

Oops, is it possible that the days of socialism in Czechoslovakia are not over yet? That is what You may ask Yourself when You enter this small and a bit shabby shop. But fortunately this is only the first impression and concerns only the ambiance; You will quickly forget the interior when You realize the broad selection; many czech micros on the shelves and in the refrigerators plus some basic material from the US, UK, B or NL plus - what a big surprise - many rare and rarest seasonals from Bavaria!!! And - when You get too exhausted from checking the great selection, they offer also one or two Nomád beers (closely connected to this shop) from the tap. Higly recommended....

Very small, but excellent beer store in the Žižkov district. Seemed to have a well-chosen selection of Czech beers (among them some from Kocour, Matuška, Jihlavský Radniční Právovárečný Pivovar), plus a lot of German/Franconian beers, and some from the US, Denmark, the UK. And of course the Nomád range - there seems to be a connection between shop and brewer. Some beers are stored cold. They had a couple of t-shirts on sale as well, and offered to beers on tap at reasonable prices. Also, kudos for actively promoting beer culture by (co-)hosting festivals in Prague.

Excellent bottle store stuated in the Zizkov neighbourhood. Cool that they are not a copycat of Zly Casy pivoteka, they developped their own portfolio which is quite interesting to say the least. Good choice of belgian and danish micros. Extensive selection of german beers. Bamberg Spezial anyone? Ah yes and the best czech brews as well. I heard the sell homebrewing ingredients too, but I didn’t see any. With this beer store, the proof is made that Zizkov is the place to beer.
