80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 Johnsense (54) , | August 7, 2011 Always prefered the other location, but Main is no slouch. usually a dozen plus good micro’s on tap from around the country - have found Ballast Point Sculpin here at various times and Ruination on Cask. Food is deadly - both in the fattening category and taste category. Staff is very knowledgeble. Come during a special event (ie Buffalo Beer week) and my score jumps by 10. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 16/20 mabel (211) Toronto, Ontario | July 26, 2011 2010-12. Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon last December, our party of four enjoyed lunch here and a few pints of their offerings. The selections for food, wine, and beer are all interesting and pleasant to try; Their pods are delicious. We enjoyed it overall, though had to wait a little for a table. Our server was quite friendly and as quick as could be under the circumstances. Would return but there are more interesting places in town to visit first. Found the pizza greasy but tasty. 3.49 happy hour pints was a huge bonus! | 82 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 poppap7 (4) New York | February 28, 2011 have always had a good time at pizza plant you can never go wrong with a pod or a deepdish. but i always go for the selection of good craft beer | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 rudolf (100) Buffalo, New York | July 28, 2009 Pizza Plant has always been a great place. Food is good, it’s one of the few places in Buffalo where you can get cask beer regularly & there are always interesting things on tap. Probably the most family friendly beer-related place in the Buffalo area. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 rob897 (10) Buffalo, New York | October 15, 2007 Not much more you can ask for with a good amount of rotating taps and 1 cask. Food is always good and the service is great. This is one of my favorite places for food and beer! | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 danmalleck (16) Alberta | June 27, 2007| Updated April 19, 2009 My lovely gf and I both really like it here; both Walker and Transit locations are great. Walker (this one) is closer to the highway and we’re coming from "across the river" so we pull off the highway and there we are (Transit is slightly further away, but it is really close to a Consumer Beverages). It’s small, but we’ve have had to wait more than 10 minutes for a seat only once. We have not sat at the bar--too tempting and usually one of us has to drive home. They know their stuff. They appreciate a good beer snob. Although some of the staff need to learn about beer, most are good. Beer selection is decent, though after awhile it gets quite familiar. I love their house brew, the Infernal Pod Ale which is a big, hoppy monster. Yum. The "pods" (sort of like a panzerotti or calzone) are great; good portions, and not usually filling to the point of being uncomfortable--unless, like us, you just keep eating more from the menu. Just a nicde little non chain restaraunt with great beers that are rotated frequently.
The Chicken Soulvaki is awesome and i highly recomend it. | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 StompBrockmore (4) Toronto, Ontario | November 13, 2006| Updated April 19, 2009 Sort of a pubish type place/family themed restaurant. Good, friendly atmosphere and service with interesting artwork related to the arrival of the mysterious "pods". On a trip to Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, this is a great place to stop for lunch/dinner and a beer. About 10 or 12 solid microbrews on tap, including their own homebrew, the Inferno Pod Ale. They really like their pods. I liked their pods too - extremely filling pizza stuffed heavy bread. They have one cask on tap in addition their regular kegged beer. Nice place, I will be returning again. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 HogTownHarry (28) Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario | April 29, 2006| Updated April 19, 2009 Even nicer than the other pizza plant, same deal - good selection on about a dozen taps, local micros represented, decent college-area quality bar. |
