What a nice oasis away from the sketchy ass bums and stink eye tweakers along the beach boardwalk and pier. We walked over and sat down and felt comfortable, safe and right at home. Man o man, where was this place when I lived in OB? That would have been nuts. I started home brewing beer living in OB in Ď93 since there was no good beer anywhere except some of what Karl Strauss was up to. Great small place with a bit of street side patio dining and the typical Pizza Port picnic table seating inside. We had the 8yr old with us and this place is very kid friendly. He was being kind of loud and obnoxious (even more than I was) and no one noticed and soon more and more kids piled in here. Great pizza, great atmosphere, amazing beer (I just want to try absolutely everything they make) but parking can be a tad rough and then thereís the tweakers. All in all I plan to be back each and every trip back to SD.

Located in a neighborhood called ocean beach, its close enough to the ocean that you can smell it from the entrance. There was plenty of street parking the night I went. The interior has kind of a surf shop feel with a vey tiny bar. They had 20-25 various pizza ports on tap as well as a lot of other locals. The food was very good and reasonably priced and the service was attentive. The beers I had were all pretty good. I love pizza but most izza places have crap beer selections. Itís great to come to a place like this that does both well.

Located blocks from the ocean, this place is a must stop for some beers and pizza. The beer selection of house beers and guest taps is fantastic. Pretty much everything was of extremely high quality from what we sampled. Pizza was kickass, with a lot of variety, veggie / vegan options, as well as salads if you donít want pizza. Service was quite good - nothing amazing. Prices are normal. An absolute must stop when in San Diego for beer and pizza.

Discorso simile a quello di Carlsbad, sempre ottimo con un ottimo servizio, provato addirittura 5 birre prima di decidere...

Visited a handful of times now, certainly my least frequented Pizza Port. This could be my favorite Pizza Port if it wasnít also the furthest away from me. The service is better than Carlsbad, the beer is better than San Clemente, and there is definitely more seating than at Solana. The downside is the parking situation. It sucks ass, thatís about all that you need to say about it.

Stopped in here Twice during a trip to San Diego last week. Good Tap selection, good food. Two main gripes are it gets pretty warm inside since it gets packed at night and they donít have open windows or doors. And second yes I know I had a out of state ID but the 2nd time the Bartertender was a bit ridiculous. After scrutinizing it for 2 minutes he actually tried peeling the corner of my ID up. Uh guy I need to use that again. Inconsiderate bartender lowers my service rating substantially.

Newer, cleaner, fancier Pizza Port. Same fantastic beer, food, and service. If I could own a location, Iíd do it immediately. They have it down pat.

I wasnít really sure what to expect of Pizza Port... people said itís just a pizza joint, and it is but itís awesome. First of all, the pie is really good, not just a shitty pizza joint with a good tap list. Lots of beer hall style seating indoors, and some patio seating outdoors. Plenty of PP beer and some great offerings from other brewers. Super friendly staff, super relaxed environment and just 1 block from Ocean Beach. Dragged my wife and son here and i think it was their favourite spot in San Diego. A must visit.

My wife and I were recommended this location over the other Pizza Ports in San Diego. Cute place. Roomy inside with Oktoberfest-style seating. Walk up order windows--one for food only and the other for beer and food. The service, in true San Diego fashion, was friendly, helpful, patient, and accommodating. The young woman who helped me seemed like she really enjoyed her job and really loved their brews. The gentlemen using the PA to announce when orders were up made it fun. My wife and I sat outside on the sidewalk patio. Itís a little tighter fit out there, but still, relatively roomy. Flights were available of all the Pizza Port brews--of which there are several on tap. The BBQ chicken pizza was amazing. The soft pretzel was described to me by my wife as, "not very good." How can you beat a place that offers a friendly atmosphere, an opportunity to sit in the sun (or shade), drink some magnificent beer, and have a great pizza? This would be an every Saturday afternoon place for me if I lived in this neighborhood.

Stopped in here for lunch over the weekend, with my two young kids. Never sure how beer drinking will mix with little kids, but this visit was great. The OB Pizza Port is a block off the main OB drag, which is kind of nice. The building is a nice brick and glass structure, with brewing equipment visible from outside. Inside are the usual bench seats and countertop for ordering beer and food. Lots of windows, sports on TV. Probably 25-30 beers on tap, 1/2 from Pizza Port. Service was friendly and the beer and pizza were ready within minutes. I only tasted 1 beer, but it was good, and the food was awesome. They even had video games for the kids. Great place.
