Only been here around two times but have had a good experience on both visits. Small-ish bar area plus dining tables. Smaller beer list compared to other places though they have a nice bottle list. All the drafts have always been nicely selected. Flight of four 4 ounce taster pours for $12, not bad for the area. Pizzas are tasty and come in 8" and 12" sizes. Have only visited after lunchtime so I donít know how busy it gets before/after. Good service, friendly bartenders.

Great place in DC, especially with the mixed tasters. Smaller selection of taps than Churchkey, but always good stuff. Friendly atmosphere, and I like this one a little more than the Georgetown location. Definitely a must if in the area.

This place is always packed. If you are lucky enough to get a bar seat they do have a great selection of beers. Service is always rushed and hurried and it is damn expensive. Pizza is very good.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Nice outside semi covered terrace area by the street. The tap menu was good with a very varied selection from local to international brews. Very impressed to find a BA Jw lees Harvest Ale on tap which Iíve never even seen back in UK. Certainly some gems in the bottle selection too. Food was great, a decent pizza with good craft beer. Winning formula! Wish there were more places like this back in Europe.

Visited July 2011.
Did a bit of a walking tour through DC and ended here. It just so happened to be during their IPA festival which made some people very happy. They were doing flights of four so I got to try a number of the Mikkeller single hop IPAs as well as a few other random beers. The downside was that since it was a themed tap lineup there wasnít much variety. The other ratings of this place make it look so good that I feel like I should come back on a regular night. The pizza was good, as it should be with a name like that. A bit pricey though. Service was attentive but didnít say much.

In my opinion, this location is not as interesting of a place as the one in Georgetown. With that said, service, food and selection here are quite amazing! Gets really crowded during peak hours. Prices are fair but to be expected for DC. With all that said, its definately one of the top 5 places in DC, so go there!

We stayed at Palomar hotel which is conveniently located a minute away from the Dupont Circle pizzeria paradiso. I guess both venues are fairly similar in that the bottle lists seem to be substantially the same. The good news though is that the draught lists were entirely different when we came across both addresses on a same day. I was leaning more toward the Dupont Circle one one myself on that day, but that must be happenstance. Pizza is presumably the same, but we have not had it here and again, the atmosphere is more restaurant-like than pub-like which is for the better and for the worse. Good spot, especially if youíre willing to lay the bucks for rarer bottles, but not a world beater.

An above average place with some great beer selections! Iíve gone here for a long lunch quite a few times, and have enjoyed the beer and the amazing pizza. Iím happy they opened the Dupont Circle location, since I never make it out to Georgetown. Overall, the only thing that I have against this place is the ambiance. I have always felt crowded and rushed here, because it is a small space.
