Homely pub to the south of the main shopping area in Worcester, there is plenty of parking nearby. Two roomed pub, we took the left hand side, although there may be further seating upstairs. Friendly and knowledgeable about beer, there were 4 beers on during our visit with a promise of more to be drawn through. Not a historic pub but nicely worn in. A must visit in Worcester.

Havenít been there for a while though it was nice enough for me to spend the whole evening there when I was last in Worcester and there is no shortage of pubs in the town. Good beer well kept.

A very convivial spot with lots of locals in evidence on a Saturday afternoon. Interesting building and fixtures with plenty of charm and character. Warm weather meant that the smallish terrace was the busiest spot. Decent beer range in good condition.

This used to be a regular haunt of mine when I lived in Worcester, I still visit it frequently when popping back to meet my mum. Always has about 4-5 beers on handpump, and with a strong focus on local beers. Two pleasant bars though I tend to always use the one to the right hand side as you enter the pub, lovely little pub.

Visited on 30 May 2009. Enjoyable pub with rooms either side of a central bar and a pleasant patio. 5 Ales were on offer (2 Hobsons, 1 from each of Kinver, Beowulf and Wye Valley) - the 3 I sampled were all in very good condition. Service was friendly as were the locals. A good place to visit and very close to the cathedral.

Was almost closed last year when the owner tried to turn it into offices for a solicitorís. Enter a new landlord and the place has really taken off! Up to six beers (usually 3-4) and great food all combine to offer a proper localsí pub feel yet with views of the cathedral. The best pub in Worcester for beer quality and sociability.
