When I visited: March 2012. What I bought: Bell’s Hop Slam and Hell Hath No Fury, Jolly Pumpkin Maracaibo Especial and Madrugada Obscura, Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine 2012, Brasserie Dupont Avec Les Bons Voeux, Goose Island Fleur. What I liked: Sizeable variety of bombers at fair prices. Good European selection with several rarities. Tons of refrigerated sixers and singles from Great Lakes, Lagunitas, Victory, North Peak, Short’s, and Flying Dog. What I disliked: Less service-oriented than The Wine Seller, have to watch for out-of-code stock. Would I go back? Definitely. Overall Rating: 86

stopped by here on the way out of town, not really worth my time... a nice store reminds me of a Whole Foods clone but similar prices... the selection was ok, standard Belgians and locals, mostly 6 picks, not many singles... did have a nice selection of B. Nektar

Decent selection of craft beer, but I was actually disappointed I couldn’t find more of a selection from the Ann Arbor area. I came home with a few things but nothing that got me really excited.

Stopped on our way home. Nice selection of Michigan beers, a few cool imports as well. The prices were reasonable. Haven’t seen the other stores in AA, but this one had everything we needed.

A Whole Foods wannabe - went there once - not impressed. Prices were higher and overall selection was less than Whole Foods. Not too much reason to go back in my mind.

My beer store of choice in Ann Arbor and not just because it’s a 3 minute drive! There’s a great selection of beer, half or more of which is refrigerated, and the prices are very reasonable. Large varieties of mead, belgians (lambic included), regional and local craft beer offerings can be found at the store. Refrigerated singles & select 750’s are available too, but are separated from the bulk of the beer. Several types of glassware fill in the shelves and informative tags + publications (Michigan Beer Guide) are on display as well. Overrall, a great place I would recommend to any beer lover within SE Michigan, but grab stuff while you see it because it doesn’t last long!

A nice ambiance for a grocery store with extremely helpful staff, ask for Ari. Selection is strong with a really nice mix six cooler. Prices are competitive. A great place for bottles in A2!
