Cool place - over 100 barrels currently aging. Other than that - just an open warehouse. Have a nice tasting bar, it just depends what they are serving at the time. Tomme is usually around to chat with makes it worth a visit - but I would recommend Pizza Port Carlsbad over this...

Tap room at the brewery in an industrial complex. Great tap selection with occasional rarities. the bottle selection is usually pretty good, with rare bottles available for drinking at the bar only, The place can get really busy, especially when the beer buses arrive.

Was one of the nicest brewery visits back in 2006. As soon as the owner and staff realized we are foreigners to come here only to visit their brewery they treated us greatly (have never had an experience like this during all of our other brewery visits). They gifted us with T-Shirts, beers, ...... They have built their brewery on the old Stone premises and have two themes: Port Brewing - California type ales and beers as you can drink them also in the Pizza Port locations and secondly Lost Abbey which is specialized in Belgium style ales. Very good beers overall.

Awesome selection, but don’t expect any good service. Most of the employees seem put off by you being there. The beer selection more than makes up for it, though. And the food trucks who are there most of the time are AWESOME.

Very disappointing. Very douchey crowd. Seemed like I walked into a frat party. Nothing rare on tap. Love their beer and was very let down.

The temple of good craft beer, the sour ale like framboise de amorosa make the trip until there worthy. Port brewing Hop 15 can be paragonate to a divine hops nectar, what else can i add? go there and try yourself

Been here many times since they opened. Despite having lots of room the place is usually packed. Lots of taps and usually a few interesting/experimental beers. They also have plenty of bottles for onsite or take away. Service can be hit and miss.

Cool surroundings - tasting area is in the middle of the brewery which is housed in an industrial storage facility. Nice selection of beers, yet all the rares were depleted (Cuvee de Tomme, Angel’s share BBA etc.). Quick service, perhaps a bit too quick: no time to talk a bit, ask some questions... I was all about sell sell sell... Pity on that part. But overall very nice.

Cool place with all the barrels. A bunch of old beer Nazis laying around on sacks of grain. Could not get to bar to order a brew. I can’t blame staff too much but may be a service area to get a brew. DO NOT try to squeeze between these Nazis if you are not familiar between the difference between a Saison and a Farmhouse ale. You will get a medusa like stair. Didn’t get a chance to try food truck so I didn’t rate. Typical cult prices and availability like you would expect. Go to their sister places Pizza Port for a better fun time.
