Industrial area, but a nice and clean tasting room. Friendly staff, great tap selection and even more bottles to go. Easy to spend a few hours there just working through the tap list.

Stopped here on a recent craftbeer tour of Greater San Diego. With only 2 1/2 days available to me I had to chose my stops wisely...this place didnít disappoint! There were at least 20 beers available. Being a hop head I concentrated more on the Port Brewing side then the Lost Abby...plus with 20 beers and a number with high ABV...what choice did I have...lol! This is a fun place to hangout and drink great craftbeers. The place is really just taps in a section of the brewery...but it doesnít matter...the staff is great and the beers exceptional.

Loved the gritty atmosphere of a working warehouse brewery, nothing to separate you from the equipment but a rope. Not pretending to be something it isnít. They serve their own stuff and thatís it. They keep the music down so you can chat. Loved the $1 tasters. No place to sit and no food inside so not a date destination, but a great place to sip beer.

Like other reviewers have said, this is a brewery set in a warehouse in an industrial park. Deco and interior is spartan to say the least. Beer selection is basic Lost abbey and port brewing. I give it higher marks however because itís one of the few breweries I visited in SD where you can engage in beer talk with the staff and they are super friendly and genuinely into beer.

This is a one time must stop and wow all my buddies are right This is a warehouse brewery with a name for the gods. I was expecting something MORE. Bigger and much more impressive. Great beer just a junky look.

Tap room in a wharehouse. With great beers on tap. The barrel room is impressive but not massive. And the brewery tour was surprisingly one of the best I ever took, (entertaining, engaging, and full of information that was new to me). Itís also nice to be in the brewery that Stone started out in and then compare it to where they are now up the road.

Went here 30 minutes ítill closing time. Itís a warehouse with some fans, still pretty hot during summer months. The service is pretty quick, seem like they know some stuff! The selection is good with at least 10 taps from each brewery. Didnít get a higher score because they were out of most of their bottles. The value was okay, seemed reasonably priced. Overall an okay working warehouse/brewery, with very very good beer.

This is by far the most disappointing top rated San Diego place. I feel robbed of my time. Big really hot warehouse, a couple fans doesnít get the job of making it bearable. They have Lost Abbey and Port beers on tap. Sounds cool but isnít because its all their regular stuff that you can get anywhere in America. There were 3 one off beers, including a shitty pils and an ok ipa. Glad I came out here for this. They have a ton of bottles, but again all they had was every single beer sitting on the shelf in Chicago right now. Everything harder to get was out. No rare no distributed bottles anywhere. This place is a joke. Our server was really nice and $1 tasters saved some anger.

Dissappointing venue, this brewery tasting room is located in a industrial park (like lots of other craft breweries) and, despie adequate space, has NO seating inside. There is an L-shaped bar and a few wooden barrel ables. On the other hand, you are in a working brewery and have about 20 taps of varied Lost Abbey and Port Brewing beers at hand. Another plus, generous $ samples
