Cool, trendy bar-restaurant in Gastown. A limited tap and bottled selection, but I have to say their selections are mostly rather good ones. I should qualify the foregoing by stating upfront that Pourhouse is primarily a cocktail bar, not an alehouse. I like that at 6:30 pm on a Saturday, as I write this, I can still hear normal conversation. It probably gets louder as the hour gets later, but Iíll be gone by then. Wi-fi works well. Thatís a big one for me.

A very beautiful little pub, beer selection is very small but at least a couple decent things. Food was very good, service was fine.

Apparently dark is the name of the game in Gastown. You might want to bring your flashlight here.
More upscale than your typical beer bar, but to be fair itís not really a beer bar. More of a gastropub sort of setting. Food is fairly pricey, as are the cocktails. Iím "used to" the $10 drink, but here $15 is more of the going rate. The beer selection is limited, to say the least. They had mostly BC beers, which was nice for me, but Iíd imagine if youíre a local theyíre all worn out beers youíve seen a million times. At least the beers werenít as expensive as everything else.
A nice place, for sure, but donít come in here expecting a beer bar with cheap eats.

More expensive place, with a fairly good menu including options for vegetarians/vegans - mains are close to $20. Taplist is decent, with 6 varied beers plus a few bottles. No reason to really stop here if itís beer selection you seek, but if youíre seeking out a finer dining experience and want a good taplist, this may do.

Came here for NYE 2013/14 and was able to get a seat at the bar within 15 mins. Cant complain about this place - 7 taps featuring USA/CAN craft. More USA stuff on the bottle list. Was happy to drink some top class USA craft to finish the year. Loads of cocktails and wine for the women too. Cool jazz bar set up. Must check out

More of a cocktail bar really. 6 taps and bottle list is mostly US stuff. Tap beers were well priced, bottles were getting a bit expensive. Excellent service and food. Hip place and some good cocktails. Score reflects more the depth of the entire place. Beer, wine and cocktail than just beer

First stop in Vancouver as happened to walk by and they had just opened. Small tap selection but nice place to grab a drink. Definitely more a wine/cocktail bar feel though. Soft ambiance and staff were nice enough.

Stunning decor and very trendy. Decent service but sit at the bar and you will be well taken care of. Selection is small but enough to keep you interested for an evening. Food is great and gourmet. Not cheap, not even close. If you want to impress come here, if you want to drink go elsewhere. Nice place to relax with the pretty people.
