A central place with 30 taps with micro craftbeer. Nice and friendly staff with good knowledge. Tasters available and good prices. One of the best beer places in Prague.

Nice place with a lot of beers (30!), a bit slow staff and a lot of tourists. But it’s in the center and, again, 30 options, so...

This is nu museum, but a good beer pub. Good selection with all kinds of styles, not just the typical Czech lager beers. And off course everything is really cheap.

Good selection of Czech small breweries. About 30 taps. About 5 Czech IPAs, a few really good.

A tourist trap but ok if you’re too lazy to go elsewhere. 30 something taps, mostly boring and soso condition, but you’ll find a gem from Matuska or Kocour in between. Smoky as hell. Great after midnight since Zly Casy in Nusle is probably your only other option for some decent beer.

(Visited July 2012) Nice beer bar centrally located not far from the Old Town Square. Dark brown interior. Quite busy and a bit noisy, with tourists and students. Friendly and efficient service. Good selection with 30 taps with beers from different breweries, some fairly common and some really interesting even for the seasoned beer hunter. Extra points for being open late and located within crawling distance from my hotel. I’ll be back (when the other places close around 11).

A nice pub with wooden interior. 30 Czech beer on tap is of course impressive. I had the chance to try beers from Matuska and Kocour. Nice atmosphere and good service. I will return.

A vast selection of beers but mainly Pilsners. There’s a few gems in there. It’s a very touristic location which drives the prices up. They serve you thirds which is good. There seems to be a lot of dicks that drink here. Stag do’s and that.

Touristy bar in the city centre, with the boring nondescript urban boozer decor you’re used to from every other city in the world, not the kind of place you want to waste too much time in. Almost empty when I entered in the early afternoon, it soon filled up with noisy tourists. The staff could hardly keep up with pouring samples. Ordering a 6-sample-tray is definitely the way to go here if you don’t want to wait 15 minutes for your next tick. The only good thing about this place was that i finally got to try the Koutský 18°, even if it wasn’t in as good a condition as I would have hoped. Prices are rather high. If you’re desperate for some quick small-sample ticks this is the place to be. Otherwise, steer clear.
