Premier Gourmet is a brilliant bottle store: great selection with lots of interesting, sometimes hard- to-find Belgian, English and U.S. micro beers. The service is excellent, and the salespeople, especially "the beer guys," know beer. However, Premier Gourmet is more than just a beer store. It is also a gourmet food store that has a capricious array of cheeses, coffee, hot sauces, meats, mustards, pastries, spices, and so much more. Next to the food and beer store (separate but in the same building) is Premier Liquor, a warehouse-size store that has an impressive selection of wines & liquors. All-in-all, a fantastic experience. I could literally spend a day in this store. Now, if Buffalo can support such a place, why can’t Toronto?

Update: got a growler today $3.50 for the vessel, 20 beers to choose from including 120 min and oak aged yeit. Selction gets huge bump. Large store with two sides. One totally dedicated to wine and booze. The other is dedicated to beer, some gourmet food, and cooking impliments. this review focus just on beer selection. Everything I would expect of a quality beer store. Nothing terribly out of this world. Beers on tap. I did pick up a bomber of southern tier oak aged cuvee series 1. It has the selection of half time (look it up) but about 1/4 of the size. Prices were reasonable, even down right cheap. Maybe I am just used to the eastern NY BS.

The best service I've ever seen in a beer store. They are great with geeks and newbies alike, and always bend over backwards to make folks from Toronto feel welcome when we come by. Wonderful selection of quality products, with a little crap thrown in for fun. The gourmet food store is just a nice bonus.

HUGE selection from all over the globe. Good prices, huge state of the art growler station. Canít say enough about the selection. Only frustration is that the rarities usually go really quick, most likely to the employees.

Another recommendation to me by a fellow RB member and this is one I will visit every time I make the drive out to Buffalo. The selection here is insane and you can spend a lot of time browsing. Prices are pretty good, but some stuff is a little too high for me. Itís very hard to get the limited release stuff, but there is so much to choose from I always leave happy. Just wish the rare beers were easier to get there and Iím guessing many get bought up by the employees first. Overall though this is one stop you need to make in Buffalo.

Nice relaxing music, staff there to ask you if you need help, but not badgering, staff, especially Josh is extremely knowledgeable. Great selection of everything. Wish they had a little more of the west-coast stuff, though.

my favorite store in the entire world. Beers, Beers, Beers...Belgians galore...the aisles are literally dripping with Fantome, Cantillon, Westies, Rocheforts, and a ton of shit i never knew existed. Vintage beers galore. Meats, Cheeses, smoked fish, a bakery....and its connected to a gigantic liquor store that i dont even want to talk about. i could live here.

I love Premier. The selection is great and staff is always willing to talk. I canít imagine a day where I walked into this store and didnít find something I wanted to drink.

I was in heaven as soon as I walked in. First I check out premier liquors, a huge warehouse sized liquor and wine store. Then found premier gourmet next door. First, the selection of fine food. Mustards, hot sauces, cheeses, meats, coffee, tea, juices, crackers...and then I found the beer corner. The selection was incredible, belgians, dunkels, stouts, tons of stuff not available to me in Pittsburgh, and the prices were the best iíve ever seen. The staff was very knowledgable and super friendly. I only wish a store like this was in Pittsburgh.
