Been here a couple times in the past year and am impressed each time. A seemingly big old dirty store with its harsh white walls and lights, thereís more here than meets the eye -- many beer treasures live on huge shelves in the back corner, organized according to country. Factor in these hundreds of bottles of imports and North American treats, all the meats and cheeses and teas you have to walk by to get to the beer, and the cavernous wine store next door, and youíve got a bunch of envious Canadians drooling across the border. Service is usually indifferent, but whatever: this place should definitely be on your list if youíre in town.

This place is awesome! Huge selection of beer from this part of the country. I would have spent twice as much if I didnít have to haul it back across the country. I was glad to see they sold everything in singles too. One of the better bottle shops Iíve visited.

I drove over from Rochester to check this place out, and maybe pick up a few beer that Beers of the World never seems to have in stock. I was shocked by how small the beer section of the store was. Upon further examination, I found that even though the beer selection is small, it is still comparable to Beers of the World because Premier Gourmet does not carry a shitload of crappy foreign lagers. What they do carry, is very high class beers. I left a rating for the food because even though itís not a restaurant, there is a shitload of good food there (grocery store style). I will be coming back when/if they ever get Cantillon back in stock.

A very nice place to stop for beer in Buffalo just across the border. A nice selection of US, belgium and other brews. Staff, when you can find them, are knowledgeable and they usually get limited amount of hard to find brews. Great cheese selection and the pastries are also tasty. Fairly good value and the place to stop in to if you are in the city.

Depending on which location you goto, the one in Kenmore has a very good beer selection with some very knowledgeable staff.

This store was very impressive as just a store. They had a MASSIVE selection of wine and liquor, including bottles prices at over $600 a bottle. The beer selection was not impressive at all. What was impressive were the vintages of belgian beers and the selection of belgian beers. They still donít come close to rivaling beers of the world in stock or selection. Not even close.

A nondescript store in a strip mall, situated next to a different liquor store. At first I wondered if I was in the right place, but after passing by the party supplies, a very nice beer selection awaits in the back. Very nice American selection, solid stuff from Belgium, even had the Epic beers from New Zealand. Few things really stood out as being overly rare, but still impressive nonetheless. Service was the weak point at the store. I was asked if I needed any help, but otherwise the member of the staff that was near me acted as if talking with me for even a moment was a chore. Regardless, definitely worth stopping at.

Pretty good beer selection at pretty average prices. I got all three Rochefort Trappistes and there are lots of other beers that are pretty hard to find, as well as some beer that you can only find locally. Lots of other stuff in the store... cheese and other weird stuff. If youíre into that kinda stuff this place would be heaven.
