Parking friendly store well located in an ugly commercial part Buffalo. The beer section is actually rather small in square foot but is tightly packed and uses high shelves. You really get a surprisingly large selection for so few square foot. Not really pleasant to shop at because it is so tightly packed. Standard NY state selection but it doesnít compare to the best eastern NY state stores like Half-Time and New Beer in NYC. Even Albany has a better selection. Itís unfortunate that the eastern NY state breweries (Captain Lawrence and friends) do not make it there. Solid American selection (no rarities), medium Belgian selection, non-belgian import selection (English, German, etc.) is sub-par but who cares. Probably the best western NY state beer store by default.

In a word, selection. Organized by Country or State are a half dozen aisles. Buying a bottle rather than a six-pack make it great for sampling. Gaining a profile for Canadians travelling through the USA from Niagra Falls/Toronto as its near the border. European selection.
Update summer 2012: New store, more stock, easier to traverse the aisles, 20 taps of the latest coming into town.

For us Canadians, this place is like being in a candy store! Selection is dynamite! Not sure what official total is, bu tmust be close to 500 different beers. Love ability to get a couple singles of wide assortment. Great selection of American micros and euro imports. Rated service low, because I’ve never really needed any and most people seem more focused on other sections of the strore. I go out of my way to get here, every time I go accross the border!

Big place with a huge selection, close enough for me to make the trek from Canada, lots of variety for a good price

Donít be a dumbass like me and walk into the wine store, thereís no beer there. Walk into the Deli and go all the way back. I was expecting a bigger selection, but what they do have is good. You can get singles and they carry lots of regional beers. Belgian selection was respectable also. I was able to pick up some Southern Tier Java, Middle Ages, Lost Cost, etc. Definitely worth a visit. Plus the store is cool. Lots of cheese, sauces, gourmet cookware and ingredients. Since I donít live in Buffalo, it was all about the beer for me!

Came up to college in Buffalo excited to see this place because I heard it was one of this best in the country. As a whole Premier is a great store. Amazing liqour and food selection. The beer honestly didnt impress me too much. Some rare items. A lot of nice Belgians. Other than that, I have seen much better.

Almost all my rating goes to simple selection. As a Toronto boy Iím restricted to what the Government wants me to have, so being told about this stop about 90 minutes away was a Godsend. Tremendous selection, I could have spent all the money I own, but had to show some discretion. Outside the terrific beer selection youíll find great gourmet market fare like sauces, spices, deli meats, and even paraphenalia for the kitchen. A liquor store attached offers a great selection of wine, liquor, and spirits. Great stop.

The selection seemed picked over. There were some interesting items, but nothing really blew my doors off. Their prices were fair. There seemed to be no one wathcing over the beer area. Unlike the other areas, where employees were tripping over themselves to help you, there really was no service.
It was a nice place, more for the food and kitchen items than for the beer. The beer selection was bigger than usual, with a good (not great) selections of Belgians and micros. If my rating seems low this is a beer site first, right?

Blows away anything I can get in Canada, but I found the ambiance hard to take, prices were a bit high. Selection was probably pretty solid for the area.
