Costa Rica’s Craft Beer on draft, plus a modern approach to local seafood. what’s not to like? okay, the location isn’t so great, it sits in a complex that looks like any American mall back home, but I shouldn’t really complain, since I didn’t come by many comparable places during my week in Costa Rica.

Product C’s third location at the upscale Avenida Escazú shopping development appears to be its most successful. The emphasis here is on uber-fresh Costa Rican seafood, sustainably caught and creatively prepared. Prices are reasonable conidering the quality. We’ve worked our way through most of the menu and are rarely disappointed. The restaurant gives place of honor to draft beers from Costa Rica’Craft Brewing, and the staff are trained to be knowledgeable about it. Ceviches, smoked trout, griled snapper on a bed of mashed camote (local sweet potato), fish and chips... pretty hard to go wrong here. Plenty of outdoor tables with covering for those rainy days. Restaurant itself is nice but shopping center vibe may feel familiar and sterile to Americans looking for CR adventure.
