We went there on a Sunday afternoon so it was quiet and there was a lot of seating available. Itís beautiful and the ambiance is quite nice. With all the seating at the bar, I imagine itís probably really interesting when a little more crowded. Selection is Netherlands only and there was not a single beer available on tap (out of 30 taps) that I have tried before so that was really nice too. We ordered a cheese that wasnít bad at all. Price are decent/reasonable for that kind of bar. You can order tasters (125 ml), which is really nice. A must-visit when you are in the area, especially for North Americans. Loved it.

A wonderful place to find many craft beers from the Netherlands. The cheese is good and the nuts were, too. We didnít try the sausage. No other food is available. Each beer is served in its own special glass, and everything tasted amazing. A touristís perspective: reasonable prices for Amsterdam. Not a tourist location, but close enough to get to if you are a tourist. Locals may disagree!

Great selection of Dutch Micros, had some nice beers I havenít tried or seen before before including Maximus IPA and one from a local brewery, tíIJ. Wide range of styles, prices are reasonable for AMS. Beautiful and comfortable bar and very knowledgable bartenders. Great bar!

They serve a lot of (local, micro) Dutch beers and the staff knows what theyíre talking about. They have almost no foreign beers though and the prices are quite high, even for Amsterdam. The ambiance is nice, but a bit touristy. So, great to taste some Dutch beers, but I wouldnít go there otherwise.

Great selection of Dutch and other micros. Slow, understaffed, service when I visited. Great patio along one of the channels.

Nice place to get Dutch beers. Lots of selection. A little pricey - especially on bottles - but it doesnít sting too much when youíre used to London prices. Quite small, but it wasnít too busy when I visited.
Not a fan of the ípay at the endí policy - I donít like waiting around to pay! Apart from that I enjoyed my visit.

The place looks very old-timey with its wooden interiors and formally dressed bartenders.
The beer selection is pretty great, especially for an American who has never seen most Dutch beers. The many taps had a huge array of styles including Marshmallow stouts.
The bartenders were helpful and were able to help someone unfamiliar with Dutch beer navigate the menu. They were furthermore able to educate me about genever, even though I didnít sample any.
We also ate a hunk of cheese with crackers and mustard. Unsurprisingly, the cheese was pretty good. I kind of wish I could teleport to this place again.
Overall, this was a good experience and probably my best in my short stay in Amsterdam.
