Visited a couple weekends ago...how I missed this after spending a lot of time in amsterdam is beyond me. As others note, it’s ambience is fairly ’new’/manufactured for the neighborhood/area, but was a great place to spend a few hours. All dutch beers - official goal/slogan is to have at least one beer from all brewers in the Netherlands. Beer book is divided into ’breweries’ and ’contract brewers’. Service was really, really good and knowledgable. Of the beer bars in the city, I’d put it solidly on top solely because of the concept.

A warm oldschool looking pub. A little walk from the busiest streets, but easy to find. The bar (like others have pointed out) specializes in beers from the Netherlands, along with Genever. The guy on shift was knowledgeable and helpful, even let my try his glass of Genever he was drinking. The selection was pretty good, had some local beers I hadn’t tried. This bar seems to be affiliated with both BierKonig store and Beer Temple bar.

Long narrow pub with the bar running the length of the pub. There are stools along the bar and a few tables at the back. On two visits we luckily managed to get the large table at the front of the pub. They have a huge selection of beers on draft (25-30). On our visits at least a third of the beers on offer were of the seasonal Bock variety. I sampled one from Snab but it was not really to my taste. One of our party went through at least six of them and wasn’t impressed by any of them! A couple of us opted for the excellent Maximus High Hops and stayed on it. Despite the dominance of the Bock beers this is probably the best pub in Amsterdam in terms of beer choice.

Beautiful cozy bar in the center of Amsterdam. Long narrow place with quite a few seats up at the bar, which is nice. I got there late afternoon-ish and it was almost empty but it quickly filled to capacity around 5 pm on a Saturday. The selection was awesome. When I was telling people about my trip, several people asked me if the dutch even made and/or drank beer. I would like to teleport them all to this place. 30 tap selections, all dutch and all well researched. Nice selection of de Molen bottle too, but I didn’t dip considering all the wonderful stuff on tap. The prices were quite reasonable and tickers can have a happy night here (pours are generally 150 or 250 ml). Service was assured by professional and knowledgeable young guys. They have cheese and meat for snacks as well. Sets the standard for what a beer bar should be.

An awesome bar with an amazing selection of Dutch beers. A skinny place but they still squeeze in a bunch of seating, I preferred to grab a seat at the bar. Service has been quick and the bartenders are always knowledgeable about the beers on tap. Those beers are all Dutch which is just what I was looking for. A solid number of bottles available as well. Prices are good and meats and cheese (which are yummy) are available. My favorite Amsterdam Bar!

Always head here for a few and a view down the Canal. Great to sit and watch the sun set by the canal with a large glass of Emelisse barrel aged Imperial Stout. The service is pretty good, and the place is pleasant inside. They serve ’strictly’ Dutch only, of which there is a good and rotating selection. Always some house favourites and always at least one heavy hitting impy
